  1. I'm probably going to keep it a bit longer to play with the nime drivers after the team comp is ended
  2. I'm guessing that with the 16GB of HBM that these MI25s might become popular again for cheap AI servers.
  3. Excellent. When the HWBOT team contest is over I'll have my bench free to mess with this card again. I wonder if power play table mods work as well to allow over +50%? I had my Vega 56 and 64 sliders unlocked to 150% which meant over 400W
  4. @LabRat with the nime drivers were you able to boost power limit at all? The biggest problem I have with the MI25 is that it only wants to stay in the 1100-1200MHz clock range. I was able to push my Vega 56 to sustain over 1700MHz and a Vega 64 to just at 1800MHz (under water) with power play mods which was much more gratifying
  5. Hell yeah R9 Fury is still a very powerful folding@home card.
  6. Original KISS version is cool but when I heard this cover I started banging my head and shaking my fist in the air: God of Thunder - YouTube Music MUSIC.YOUTUBE.COM Provided to YouTube by The Orchard Enterprises God of Thunder · Death Human (Deluxe Version) ℗ 2011 Relapse Records Inc. Released...
  7. Sorry I misplaced my good metric tape measure and had to use the fugly stanley Photos-001.zip Also this is the 120mm fan 3D printed adapter:
  8. For the Team Cup Geek Bench? This will be very fun!
  9. @LabRat I linked @Lifted to your TPU thread where I got all my knowledge of this project. LIfted those dimensions that LabRat gave you are the right ones. If either of you want to purchase my card with the waterblock mod, let me know. I'm trying to downsize a bunch of stuff. The MI25 was a very fun project but I feel like I wouldn't miss it since it's been sitting on shelf for 3 months now. I also have the 3D printed adapter for 120mm fan through heat sink.
  10. I'll take a look at it today and measure. Another option is 3D printed fan adapter for the stock cooler. I am terrible at linux so I flashed it in Windows 10. I used a system that had video out through a 5600G APU graphics.
  11. Well we need you on the HWBOT team and our Folding Team!!! @Avacado @Bastiaan_NL @firedfly
  12. For the team challenge, a weak sub is much much better than no sub at all. If someone afterwards has a better sub yours won't be counted so please at least try. Your best bet for the clock frequency is just lock in all cores to a set multiplier. It can certainly be less. My 5950X I only sub'd at 4GHz because of the heat but it was still a descent score. What weighs the heaviest is our team getting all of the categories filled and we still have a lot of holes.
  13. I made a $40 bid for a ryzen 3 4100. They are new for about $60. I don't think it's wise to pay that much or for the 5300G. They are asking too much for those quad cores.
  14. Anyone else wondering what to do with a pile of legacy hardware after the tc is over?
  15. Lmao good catch! What ridiculous rules! It makes my skin crawl!
  16. yes and it's ok to have some redundant subs just in case one gets deleted
  17. It looks like you can run two categories https://hwbot.org/competition/TC2023AMD/stage/5689_y-cruncher_-_pi-2.5b_-_benchmate_-_ddr5_-_4_subs and https://hwbot.org/competition/TC2023MEM/stage/5699_y-cruncher_-_pi-2.5b_with_benchmate_-_ddr4_-_3_subs Read the fine print. I'm sure Bastiaan and Avacado will inspect it to make sure but don't feel bad if you mess it up and have to do it again. They are very picky.
  18. Right he's very consistent with his 200K per day since he started two years ago
  19. I'll send you his address. Joe Stewart will be stoked!
  20. paperclip is @NBrock and pretty sure @ENTERPRISE still owns the ehwcfp or is it in possession of @Cerberus?
  21. hmmn I might have to try and get me a maxwell!
  22. Nice a GTX 275! I missed out on that generation. I think I had an 7600 GS? an 8800GT, then my next nvidia was GTX 460. Are older Titans still expensive?
  23. Well done everyone! @neurotix pick your winners. See you all again next month, maybe the weekend of 23rd-24th? I'll let you all know around the first of the month what is decided for sure. Hopefully it won't be so hot next time.
