Despite most Z390 motherboards also being ready, it seems Intel is sticking to its guns with just 11th and 10th gen support in this rollout.  This must be a lock in the AMD and NVidia drivers.

For AMD or Nvidia to block certain. cards from using BAR, It would likely be the same sort of tech used to harm hash rates.

Article suggests you need to update the GPU BIOS as well.

Saw some confirmation on reddit that it's working for 9700K and 9900K on Z390 boards.  So, it's probably just incomplete communication, as usual in these things.

Well my BIOS for my mobo supports BAR, as does my GPU and even though my GPU BIOS was updated today via Precision X1, the new Nvidia BAR enabled drivers still say BAR is disabled oddly. Running a 5000 series CPU to. Will wait and see.

EVGA updated their z370 BIOS' to support resizable BAR for AMD and Nvidia GPUs. Not sure how this will affect performance on my 8086k yet though.

...I'm sitting back for a bit  and see if there will be updates on the updates on the mobo bios and v-bios for the r_BAR. I don't really like updating bios unless I have to, especially as I just spent a month chasing down rabbit holes for fine tuning hyperfast RAM settings
