Signed up, got 2 Pny Quadro 4000(mostly for plex transcoding) coming but atm of signing 1660super and rx580 are only reliable folding cards.

@firedfly If you make a new team, my kids said they would "foster" your 2 other team slots until you can find other members, if this is allowed. I might need @BWG to help set me up. They can fold some bobo cards like GT 730 or Vega 7 APU graphics 24/7. I think we would all like to see some more teams entered for more competition.

I spoke with @BWG this morning.  He has me slated to replace @Avacado --at least for August.

Status on stats website is axipher will hand over some keys to axihub for zodac to upload the site, and then the migration will be finalized. We will have a delay on the UI most likely, but we already have that fine lookin zodac UI which will do for now.

If you still want me to work on the UI, let me know. If @axipher and/or @zotac have an issue with granting me access to the doc root of the new server, what they could do is package up the doc root once it's live, send me a zipped copy of it, and I'll work on it locally. I'd then document the differences between what they sent me and what I changed (file wise; all commented), and one of them could replicate the changes accordingly.

As much as id love to join between the insane heat here in Florida rn and the lack of any spare cards i really cant. All my gpus are in systems for my roommates to Lan and while my bottom 980ti already idle folds anytime the system is on its set to a 60c limit (700mhz avg) Running full bore will boil my room and cost me another arm on top of the already insane a/c electric bill. Once i get a more efficient spare card back or closer to winter id love to join for some fun monthly battles tho. Gl ya'll and may your electric bills have mercy lol.

Fill out the 2 sign up sheets in the op. Just list 1 rx580. I'll add your team tomorrow and send you instructions on the way you setup a passkey. 

 

@TuMadreATRis considering joining the event too. The artist formely know as JedixJarf, a retired Folding Editor from OCN that has probably twice as many gpus as me, at the least. GPU Guru Empire of Nerdspeak!

I created a 5th team. @firedflywill be the Team Captain. @pioneerisloudis on the team in AMD. The team name isn't exactly final, but I wanted to get it into stats. They need 1 more folder in Wildcard which is 1 AMD GPU or 1 nVidia GPU. Will it be you? Tu hasn't committed yet. Spots open.

If no one joins in time I can have one of the kids join the forum and fold on something as a placeholder so that your team does not fall behind on points. Deadline tomorrow right?

If a team ends up short a member I'll be happy to help fill till a member can be found. Yes I am team captain for Team OCN but am a 24/7 folder. So I always have cards running.  No I'm not gonna give you my best card but would be glad to help.  All I would need is a ok from @BWG and a passkey.  In the end this is all about folding for a cure. It's just fun along the way.

Sooo uhhhh, I got my folding rig up and running.  But its only giving me the option to use my CPU.  What gives?  Do I have to have a monitor connected or something still?  This might be a problem.  -_-

Nevermind, all good in the hood now.  I'm an idiot, let's just leave it at that.  I'll send a stale cookie (stale by the time it gets there) to whomever can guess the problem based off the image above.  That's how I figured it out......

Looks like the weight of the GPU pulled itself out of the PCI-e slot.

Close enough!    It helps if a GPU is connected to the motherboard, that's for sure.  Monitor's not required. -_-

I set it up on my workbench area, and moved it to its little shelf corner on its box.  I didn't realize the board had slid a tad bit during the move and didn't think to check it after.    That'd be the 2nd time I've accidentally live hot swapped something that's not supposed to be this evening.  Yes, I did shut it down and cut power before pushing it in the rest of the way, but it was still touching with some contacts originally.  The i7 I was trying to get going earlier didn't suffer the same luxury. -_-  I'm done, its working....
