In addition to Su, Nvidia chief scientist Dr. William Dally, Microsoft chief scientific officer Dr. Eric...

Should probably have happened sooner. AMD has been hitting home runs with her as the CEO.

Seriously? NOT saying the position isn't deserved, but if the administration wanted to go the rest of the way sucking a#z they should have just thrown in someone from Intel,Amazon, and Facebook also. I mean they pulled names from AMD,Nvidia,Microsoft, and Google.Did they crib the list from the congressional list of people who they wanted to testify and then dropped the obvious liars?(oh,wait, they kept google...) lol 🤣

I suspect anything this administration would do would be seen negativity by anyone who gets sucked into conspiratorial thinking.

However this isn't really about politics, it's about AMD having a great CEO that has turned the company around and this appointment just solidifies that.

Looks like a good time to buy stock in AMD, before it skyrockets, again.

Congratulations to Su, she has proven very methodical in her leadership.

I do hope however that, the appointees keep advisories in the interest of the public, and not the private (looking at YOU GOOGLE/MS).

The chairs of that board are highly respected scientists.  Dr. Frances Arnold is a Nobel Prize winner, Dr. Maria Zuber has been on advisory boards for the last four administrations, and the newly sworn in cabinet member (it's about time there is a real scientist sitting at the table) Dr. Eric Lander is a brilliant geneticist.  Bringing science into the forefront for policy decisions is a welcome change, and the mix of researchers with industry leaders, who also happen to be actual engineers, will hopefully keep the panel steered in the direction of the public good.

Lisa Su has done a phenomenal job righting the ship at AMD, and is actually a real engineer and not just a brilliant bean counter.
