On Friday, the team stated that the Windows 11 Build 22000.282 was released to participating Insiders with access to the Beta and Release Preview channels. This build includes many fixes to the new OS, with a resolution for the Ryzen-based Level 3 (L3) caching issue at the top of the list. If successful, this fix can restore up to 15 percent of lost performance in some gaming tasks and esports titles.

I haven't noticed any issues with performance myself but it will still be nice to have this fixed.

Do you have to be on a certain insider branch to get it?

I'm sick and tired of Windows 11 already and I haven't even tried it yet. -_-

All, ALL of my rigs are complaining now that they're not Windows 11 compatible, even my sig rig.  Why is MS forcing it through the update service again?  Ugh.  If I wanted 11, I'd install 11.  I appreciate the opportunity to upgrade from 10 to 11, but it doesn't belong in Windows updates like this, especially now that its a giant "HEY YOUR RIG ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH, BUY A NEW ONE" message.

Both of my Ryzen rigs, my Broadwell server, my FX 8350 rig, these should all have absolutely zero problems with Windows 11, but here we are.  It still blows my mind that K8 dual cores don't work on 10 too though, but Atoms work fine.  Meh.....  *shrugs

/rant  Just tossed it in there because its related to Windows Update lol.

Don't lose any sleep over it.  Windows 11 is just lipstick on a pig.

Oh I'm not lol.  If it weren't for how well Windows 10 just plugs in, and works with nearly all of my game titles I'd have switched to Linux a few years ago now.  MS isn't the only OS manufacturer out there.  So until that day comes when they are, I'm not that worried. 🙂

You can get Windows 11 versions with a bypass for these silly restrictions. I think all the CPU restrictions are dumb. TPM 2.0 I can see the benefits from in some use cases, but everything else is overboard.

Everything else? I thought TPM was pretty much it.

Well everything else basically being the silly "Compatible CPU" list. Within reason all CPU's in the last 6 years + could runs Windows 11 fine, but they have made it so that if your CPU is not on the compatibility list, Windows 11 will not allow you to install.
