Need more of this for more competition/progress forward.  Need more medium sized companies aiming for big ideas and less of the major companies rolling with all the 'powah'.

LTT had this on their live stream today.  So, this is growing to be bigger news than I thought yesterday.  Hmmm.

Personally, I say good.  Nvidia needed to be knocked down a peg or two.  All of these big companies that are operating towards monopolies need to be knocked back.  We need more innovation, more consumer choice.  Honestly, if Cyrix was still around today and 3DFX and ATI, could you imagine the cool rigs that might've been?  Tons of old, and honestly great companies died in the last 15-30 years its absolutely horrible.

I hold the same views against gaming companies too.  Looking at you EA. *shakes fist

100% - take most if not all industries that have over time built up to be monopolies or duopolies, when has that ever worked out for the customer/consumer in terms of cost, innovation, value, etc.
