Question regarding customer portals.

Hey guys, 

 

A quick question for anyone who may have had experience setting up a customer portal. Does anyone have any recommendations on a service that could be used to allow clients to login into their own area with access to various resources provided to them ?  

 

For example, looking to have a customer portal for clients to log in to and they could do the following for example.

 

* View Machines Owned 
* View Manuals 
* Request Spares 
* Request Remote Support

Unfortunately this is not for EHW lol. ...maybe one day ?!

Salesforce is the only product I have experience with in the customer portal world, but it can do all that.  Its probably overkill for just a customer portal but it would work.

Well we ended up getting custom development done in the end, but appreciate the response nonetheless
