indefinite, tbh, more room for full pcs, but i can squeeze a few more  just gpu

I have decided I will send you my last three Tesla M40 Compute cards. These would be best served on a test bench/open air. They are hard to cool, rest assured that the thermal compound and thermal pads have all been replaced, you just need to make sure the rear fans are attached and running full blast... depending on your ambient. Are you happy to take em ?

3x Tesla M40 Cards officially shipped! I think each of these guy 900K PPD last time I checked. Every little helps.

Your cooling setup impressive. It winter here almost like 0c at night out i got the windows open with a fan. And my 13900k/6800xt still find a ways to heatup the room in the days to like 30c

Nice! Good to see those 3D printed fans getting a 3rd life. They are quite loud, be warned. I think they put out something like 22k RPM

they're definitely going on a fan controller, lol, hopefully it doesn't take all 22k to keep them from throttling

Sorry to tell you that it does. =/ I tried replacing them with Noctua variants, but they couldn't push enough air. Those Tesla's would still hit like 80-90c full bore fans. That was after a re-pad/paste.

Sweet! I am glad they got to you in one piece bud. 

 

Those fans are loud and you do need some nice case air flow (Negative pressure) to really aid in the cooling of these hot beasts. I found that I still had to have the small fans past 50% to aid in the cooling. The Tesla cards in reality have a rubbish heatsink, not sure who thought those up reckoned they would be sufficient.

think the vrms would survive open air? ill watercool all three gpu dies....

Not sure on the VRM's, they would need active fan cooling for sure. There is a 980Ti block that fits them. I only have one remaining though. Whatever you do, please do not put backplates on them. Thats how I managed to kill all 5 of my M40's.

I'm at work, but they were Heatkiller blocks. I got plenty of images in my gallery of them, but I'm not sure if you can make the model out. Can check later for you.
