Hello all, 

 

I just wanted to take a moment to Thank You All for the work you have put into the community, whether this be from a staff or user level. Without your help and continued dedication to the site, we would not be where we are now. We still have some growing to do, no doubt, but I personally enjoy coming on here daily and checking to see what's new, or just following continued discussions. Discussion forums have a hard time of it these days with the growth of social media services but it is my firm opinion that forums/sites are still THE staple of quality information on the internet.

 

We have an excellent group of people here and I feel sometimes I do not thank you all enough and I wanted to assure you that all your efforts on a daily basis is noticed. I am proud of all that you have accomplished here on ExtremeHW and I am certainly looking forward to seeing what the future brings for both our forums and our reviews. As always, spread the word, bring your family and friends here, don't be selfish and keep it all to yourselves  

 

I also wanted to throw out an additional thank you to all those who have purchased a premium account, donate to the site and purchase from our merch store. This really helps us with the costs of running the platform, paying for private dev work as well as purchasing any add-ons that enhance the users experience. Thank you!

Yeah, we have a great number of dedicated users who all love the site and support it. Additionally, having dealt with you a lot privately and being former staff (which I accepted long ago now), I can confidently say that we have the best admin on Earth

 

It's warm enough now where I live that I can wear the t-shirts I have. I will be wearing them to physical therapy, as well as restaurants. I tell people the url and what the site is about regularly because I want to see it grow (like in the Growing the Site thread).

 

Great site with a great admin and a ton of greatly experienced, talented users in many ways.

Agreed on Administration.

 

If I had a tech issue that I had questions about that I could not find the answer to on my own, this would be the absolute best place to seek further information. Hands down. It is extremely rare that I find myself in that situation, but it's great to know where to go when it happens. I think it's extremely rare for all of us to need help on tech stuff because we are all so good at our craft. It's too bad there are not more users here seeking expert knowledge (maybe a marketing angle @ENTERPRISE)

Well, I have a nice rig imo and so does my fiancee, but I would potentially be seeking expert knowledge if I were to get into water cooling my rig fully. I kinda know the principles and what you need in a loop, but I've never done it. I've decided it's just not doable for me with my pain issues, as well as the size of my case and room in it. Props to seemingly everyone here and my friends here who all water cool.

 

If I were going to water cool my system, I would definitely come here and ask for a parts list etc. as opposed to looking elsewhere or asking elsewhere for that information. You are percent right. EHW is the best.

I said it in another thread but the other forums wish they were us. This is the end all be all best group of modders and overclockers and PC nuts on the web today. I'm just happy we have such a nice well curated site to congregate on. We truly are lucky in 2024 to have EHW available to us.

Growing up in the forum era, it kills me that nearly all forums have died and were replaced by garbage facebook groups full of people asking the same questions every day because they have no idea what a search bar is.

 

ExtremeHW has risen from the ashes of forums past to provide us with a safe haven of knowledgeable people that love the hobby and are always willing to help. 

 

I'm extremely thankful for all the amazing friends I've made on this site. Many of which I'd actually interacted with on another site which must not be named. that said, I'd never met up with and went on adventures with anyone on the internet (outside tinder) prior to EHW. 

 

Love all the friends I've met on here and look forward to many more years of disrupting the enthusiast PC space with our presence.
