FFX is my favorite game. Maybe I'm a normie, but everytime I hear that Zanarkand piano... I love it.

Prefer FF VII myself over X but VI to me was the best even though it was on and older system.
BTW made a 2025 dated post here with this.

Metroid Prime

 

First time seeing this game, it blew me away. I think it was the first time I ever saw a first person platformer. Seeing the visor bob around, rain accumulating and being wiped away, and Samus’ reflection caught my attention like no other game. 

 

My friend just got the Gamecube, with Smash Melee and Prime. I felt like a peasant with my N64 XD

 

Once I eventually got a Gamecube some years on, I got it with Prime and it instantly became my all time favourite. Watch a review if you want to better understand why. Or grab it on Switch, it’s been remastered and plays even better, since the controls have been updated.
