Won't write songs of you after you are gone, but I would fold on your 4090 on solar power for the remainder of my life (Kinda like Greg does for Hertz).

'grats on the 4090 - it can do so much more than epeen. As to eye sight and 4K120 monitor, that's precisely the point. If you get a big (say 42, 48 or larger) OLED, you'll have a lot more options for setting it up in a way that works better for your specific visual needs. That said, putting a new CPU, mobo, RAM, graphics card and monitor together and tuning it might best be deferred for when you feel a bit better.

I did not do the math but probably close to half.  I'll do the math really quick while I'm posting this.  Got a 19 lbs turkey for free for spending so much.  I could have had 2x free turkeys if I split the bill up.  Meh Now I have 3 turkeys.

look at the pic I just added above the item it shows the quantity.  single 1lb packs were cheaper than a whole 5lb pack.  the 5lb pack was $11.xx while these were less than $2.00 per lb so 5x 2 + $10 math was better for the single one pound packs.

So I purchased an FX-6300 a little while ago when I was having an issue getting Ph ii cpu's to post in the GA-990FXA-UD3 and today I received a package way too big to be a cpu.  Low and behold I received a used ASUS M5A78L-M Plus/USB3 Motherboard  I'm sure the person that bought this mobo will be quite perturbed when he receives the cpu ...  OMG EBAY has been about 50/50 hit or miss lately but prices are good
