^^well, not sure how that will make your computer(s) faster, but surely more scary ?  ergo, a security system enhancement ?!

...this piece just arrived 5 min ago (replacement for the one that got lost in shipping)...only need one more item to arrive (scheduled for later today / fittings) and I got all the parts for a new dual-loop...all I need then is a bit of free time...

I was supposed to receive my Optimus AM4 block today, but seems USPS is being dumb and sent it east from Chicago area instead of sending it to Denver. Checked tracking earlier and it is sitting in Massachusetts. So I am thinking will get it next week instead.

Yep! Was going back and forth between just the copper vs the nickel plated and ultimately went with the nickel. Hope it holds up better than my EK blocks did as the plating on those were shockingly poor.

Speaking of USPS, I watched a shipment cross my whole state of Ohio 3x, yes completely, before it showed up late.

Performance PC's VIP?

I bought a powerstrip that's long and attached it to the back of my desk. I then got every cable off of the floor for the first time ever.

I also got rid of my monitor stand which took up entirely too much desk space and bought a vessa swivel armed wall mount.  I had to cut and grind a vessa plate down to not cover the wiring inputs.

That is kinda scary, but really cool at the same time!

Nice @BWG, I actually hate cables on the floor because I'm always playing with them with my feet :classic_laugh:
I still need to mount my second monitor to an arm, it's 10" behind my main monitor...

I have received some cool hardware today: 10900x, X299 mobo with 7 PCI-e slots, memory and a few risers!
Now I'm still waiting on a lot of aluminium to build a rack to support/house all this hardware..

Thanks, now you know what I meant with the expensive WS hardware in the PB :classic_biggrin:
I can't wait to test it out, but after working for 15 hours I think it's a better idea to leave it for another day.

So much cool stuff on those pictures, it's really hard to tell what I like the most! But that GPU though... ?

Yeah, I already had it running last night and did some tests. Now I'm still waiting on more parts and some time to start building.

...case stability ? What case ? I don't use 'cases' any more, I'm too extreme (shouldn't have listened to Frank Zappa...).

These days, I prefer to do open builds with massive airflow via plenty of push/pull fans set to whoosh speed instead of full speed; also helps to keep it clear of dust ?   ...24 Arctic fans for dual loop for 3950X and Strix 3090 OC ?

...last real 'case' I built a project with was last fall when I found a brand-new CM Stryker (~ 2013) in our store room; still had the protective plastic on the acrylic window...mounted an Asus X79-E WS with some other older peripherals also from the store room and got myself a nice hybrid for 1080p retro-gaming + NIC

Would love to unplug from my G502, but there's too many reviews of double-clicking from the G703 on amazon. Far as reviews go, the double-clicking seems to affect all of Logitech's lineup now?
