  1. I just noticed this conversation, but as @Avacado mentioned I'm in the Netherlands. Even though I love the prizes you are giving away I would like to give my second place to @Cerberus and the third place to another lucky winner
  2. I have a spare 850w but it's on the other side of the ocean
  3. Any updates @Sir Beregond? I still need to do my AMD's and I'm looking forward to copying some of your settings I was finally able to do the dual RX590 run. /img/logo.png Bastiaan_NL`s 3DMark - Fire Strike (GPU) score: 28412 marks with a Radeon RX 590 HWBOT.ORG The 2x Radeon RX 590 @ 1630/2110MHzscores getScoreFormatted in the 3DMark - Fire Strike (GPU) benchmark. Bastiaan_NLranks #9 worldwide and #1 in the hardware class. Find out more at HWBOT. AMD Radeon RX 590 video card benchmark result - AMD FX-9590,ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 WWW.3DMARK.COM AMD FX-9590, AMD Radeon RX 590 x 2, 8192 MB, 64-bit Windows 10} Also a fun fact, I finally found the Nitro+ twin today. So by the time that shows up I can run that pair in crossfire and try to get better clocks as the Gigabyte one is sort of in between the RX590 Nitro+ and the RX580..
  4. Entertaining as usual Jan, I'm always impressed by your creativity. A lot of stuff I work with but you find cool ways to implement it in this build! Like the parts below, I hate them from a professional point of view as it's not as strong as the stainless variant I prefer and it should never be used on a marine engine but the texture will be a cool touch to this build. This... I know how it feels
  5. Still an impressive amount of power in that system! Why did you go from 5 to 4? Decided it was a tad overkill?
  6. Pretty good, and how's life treating you? If any of you are interested in helping us out with a few benchmarks it would be great, there is even a chance to win some money: We are looking for some old hardware, some new, you can see what we need in the spreadsheet and if there are questions make sure to DM any of the HWBOT captains
  7. To hopefully boost the participation I will sponsor 2 prizes: a €50 prize where every submission which counts per the HWBOT rules and is in the final listing on their website gives you 1 entry and a random €25 prize for members who participate (unique winners). Team captains and me are excluded. Prizes will be drawn when the competition is finished.
  8. You are correct, I found out later that it wasn't mentioned. Also, I wasted 2 hours messing around with my 3950x because the rules are hard to understand sometimes. Turns out you can only sub one 16 core result, and yours beats mine. Nice work
  9. Happy to help If you still have the proper screenshot you can edit the result, if not you'll have to rerun it and submit again. [edit] You can always hit me or @Avacado up on discord and ask if the screenshot is correct before subbing, usually you'll have an answer in no time and it'll save you the trouble of doing a rerun.
  10. Good morning E, the screenshot needs some work. You need CPUZ: CPU, Mem, Mainboard and as many SPD windows as you have mem sticks with the right stick selected. The screenshot needs to be full size, not cropped. Other than that it's a nice score! Next week I should be able to get my own 16core result in with the 3950x.
  11. Hey guys, At the end of the month I will take down the F@H system and stop folding for a while. There are several reasons: I need some of the hardware for other purposes, the noise is getting on my nerves in the bedroom and I don't have another spare room to put the hardware (as the office is 100% dedicated to benchmarking) and I'm trying to cut some of the power usage in the house as it's getting a tad expensive. It's been fun for a good cause
  12. Thanks @ENTERPRISE A second GT240 came in today and resistors/caps/smd's to mod everything I own Tomorrow I'll pick up an AMD FX with mobo and mem, all I need is a second 590 and I'm done for the rest of the comp.. Maybe an E8600 and an E4600, but they are pretty cheap.
  13. I sort of understand those rules from their point of view. They want to see what you are running/doing, and the only way is with the proper tabs open to show the world. CPUZ: CPU, mem, board, spd GPUZ: every card you run Detailed score info Validation links etc It all makes sense, it's just something to keep in mind when you are submitting just like you don't want to forget setting your vcore and multiplier with an overclock Volt mods are working: /img/logo.png Bastiaan_NL`s 3DMark03 score: 33994 marks with a GeForce GT 240 GDDR3 HWBOT.ORG The GeForce GT 240 GDDR3 @ 780/1070MHzscores getScoreFormatted in the 3DMark03 benchmark. Bastiaan_NLranks #null worldwide and #3 in the hardware class. Find out more at HWBOT. Core needs a lot of voltage for a little oc, I bet the power delivery is not the greatest but whatever. First place in the comp for now
  14. You guys have been active here So I bought some stuff, found out I need way more to bench that because I own the wrong CPU's, been searching the internet for more hardware, bought more, found out I still don't have enough and so on. @Avacado just told me I should stop this nonesense Anyways, I didn't submit much yet and I'm waiting for the good stuff to come. This GT240 turned out to be not the best model out there but I voltmodded it anyways, why not have some fun right? (not a clean one though, just fast and dirty )
  15. IN Bastiaan_NL Finally thought about it and got a 3090 up and running too
  16. Congrats with the position brother, now get to work When there is a bit more time I'll look through my contacts and have we'll have a chat
  17. I doubt there is someone else running a 10900x @4.9 all core with a shuntmodded 3060 @2260ishmhz in this world At least that 3060 got the 100th percentile https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/53774647 number 1 3060
  18. I'm not sure if I want to go that far with this chip, the only reason I installed it is that I wanted to have some fun with the hardware as it was sitting in a box. Ambient kills the fun over here too, 10°C or less works way better while overclocking
  19. https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/53762696 CPU stock Mem XMP GPU 520w power limit (540w actual) with 2205mhz core and 1290 mem on air (Gammix XPG S70 is not working properly, still need to sort that)
  20. I wish I could delid it, but by just looking at the IHS it seems like it's glued in place in such a way I would damage the chip before getting the IHS off. As far as LM goes, I've done a few chips. Not as much as a few other members, but I wouldn't be afraid of that part of the 'mod'. 'fully capable', thanks brother The board is art, there are a few things that should have been different but I know why they did it (6pin in the middle of the board for example) but it's so cool. And the weight is crazy, I've never felt a board being this heavy without all those full cover heatsinks like some 'gaming' or 'overclocking' boards have, just filled with components. Haha, ikr. Glad your drool is staying on your side of the stream
  21. Correct, this chip in combination with the motherboard is great for a F@H farm because of the PCIE lanes. It's really expensive stuff, the main reason I bought this was to fold with more GPU's in a single system increasing the efficiency instead of having 3 systems online all the time. By now the power is so expensive that I have one GPU online, and I'm thinking about taking that one offline too (€0.51 per kWh). The CPU runs very hot, making it hard to get a decent OC to work. 5ghz was for fun, but running this for anything besides an easy benchmark will shoot the temps up to at least 85°C if not higher. A few more pictures:
  22. Playing around with the 10900x, that thing is not easy to cool and I need to do a lot more tuning before this will work on other benchmarks. I managed to run GB3 too, but the memory isn't much on that thing as it wasn't meant for benchmarking when I bought this stuff. 6804.1 multi and 594.6 single, 7398.7 total @5ghz all core (and I messed up the screenshot, 2x mem tab instead of 1x mem and 1x mainboard )
