  1. Maybe it's an idea to create a new topic with general system tuning tips, questions and guides, I bet all of us would benefit from that. We only need someone who is willing to create that topic and keeps it up to date with links to useful posts
  2. I doubt it, even 30°C is way too hot to cool the hardware with. I'll use the AC unit anyways if I fire up that system as I've been doing the past few weeks
  3. And it's only the GPU loop, I bet I'll see over 60FPS at 4K! Will let you know more about that rad, for now it feels like the ususal Alphacool Quality, big, heavy and good looking. The only complaint I have is that there is no hole in the second end cap, would have been way better for bleeding air out of a massive rad like this. That might have been why I liked it so much. I don't think this filter will limit the flow that much, it has a big surface area. We use a lot of Parker products for the marine diesel engines too. I think the fuel filters we use flow over 1000LPH, just enough for the biggest engines we have...
  4. It's the Alphacool ES BIG inline filter, it's kinda big indeed but easy to clean (I'll use 2 valves). The screen seems to be stainless steel or something, I couldn't find it in the information but as it is an Alphacool product I bet it's quality.
  5. Some hardware for the GPU loop: And some TG stuff:
  6. The sexy board with 2 sockets and 16 memory slots makes up for the photo's
  7. Sucks to hear @Soulpatch, I guess there is some difference between the XC3 and the FTW3 afterall @firedfly Added
  8. And nothing in the EU All I need is a Kingpin 3090Ti
  9. The winners are randomly selected so it doesn't really matter if it's one or two days of folding, but I would use it for the next competition.
  10. I'll start with the cheapest CPU and work my way up
  11. 2x copper IHS and the delid/relid kit from Rockit cool
  12. Congrats @Supercrumpet with your 4 Billion points milestone! Thanks everyone for the great work!
  13. It's just a little 'suicide' run, I couldn't get it to work with 2 cores and HT. The voltage required is a bit too much without chilled water or the extreme cooling solutions. If you could get it stable enough to play a game it could be fun, but on a single thread I don't think it'll be much. The 12900KF on the other hand can do 5.2ghz + stable on the 8 Performance cores, that for sure helps gaming performance.
  14. As you wish Single core active, 5698mhz 915.4 single thread score. And yes, this stuff can be a bit addictive. Don't worry though, I still remember my friends names
  15. I nearly pissed myself We're calling it G-cores from now on! Intel Pentium Gold G7400 @ 5.598ghz 2330.3 multi, 879.5 single = 3209.8
  16. I never thought about this... I'll take a look at all the monitors I use, if I don't forget it
  17. Thanks J. I'm looking forward to your z690 submissions, though I'm sure it won't be hard for you to beat me At first I was thinking about a KS too, but I didn't want to wait. I'm using the Heatkiller IV on mine, but for some reason that is not enough. Thermal paste imprint looks perfect, doesn't look like it has deep spots or anything. I tried adding some washers to the retention bracket like suggested online but that made it worse. So I went back and now I'm still stuck with 90°C load with a good flowing system and a lot of radiator surface. Direct die cooling will be the next step if I can find something I like...
  18. A little update on my 12900KF: 5.3ghz all pcore, 4.2ghz ecore, 4.6ghz cache, 6600mhz mem 12614.8 all/ 865.7 single = 13480.5 total This is it for now, not trying to go any further until I am able to fix the heat issues on this chip. (tried about a dozen things, not much luck)
  19. Looks really good Sarge, it's like everything is frozen in there! And I agree with @ArchStanton, I prefer soft tubing over hardtubing most of the times. Only copper tubing might change my mind...
