  1. ...two pairs of this - work superbly well w/ 3090, 6900XT @ 4K/120; braided wire protection a big plus ...also hit 4K/ 100 Hz right 'out of the box' with one of these cables and a 2080 Ti; that's kind of weird as that GPU isn't even rated for it, but I take it
  2. banned for leaving out this spiffy shark model that belongs on every tool belt ...
  3. ...^^ nice, but the Reunion Island Air Traffic Safety Board wants to talk with you re. that 747 excursion... ...picked up an LG C1 OLED 48 today as part of the 'Ravens' nest' build...haven't fully calibrated it yet, but full-on HDR / OLED is a blast in FS2020...screenies of HDR don't quite come out right, but the original experience is jaw-dropping - feels more '3D / spatial' with the extra detail
  4. ...watch grainy late-50ies 'Leave it to Beaver' reruns; ...3090 & 6900 XT will power that old 13 inch CRT for work + play
  5. "...we're gonna need a bigger boat desk"
  6. ...controllers in FS2020 can be tricky...I have been using and recommending the Logitech 3D Extreme Pro USB in FS2020 since I first got that sim...however, I have a second one (same, but wireless model) which does show up correctly in FS2020 control settings and calibrations, but for some reason does not work in actual flight. I also have a cheap pseudo XBox controller which also doesn't work right, though it for some reason does allow you to take single click screenshots continuously ?! IMO, FS2020 is interweaving your system with their server-side so deeply that some changes, such as controllers, just don't seem to update correctly
  7. ...real-weather night flight over NY last night...check the lightning near the compass
  8. ...a little something for the back plates of the 3090 Strix and 6900 XT
  9. ...two sets of this, for thermally sticky situations...
  10. WELCOME ! ...in less than 24 hrs since I uploaded my first-ever YTs - soon I can retire on YT earnings alone ...got to get a decent camera, peripherals and such now
  11. ...lot's of disruptions, but back to working on the Ravens' nest ...leak / pressure testing with test loop: dual D5 revo combo on max speed > XSPC reservoir > Phanteks 3090 Strix block . Bykski 6900 XT block - TT CL480 / 64 triple row rad > back to reservoir...don't think I need a flow-meter source
  12. ...my fav flying area (Mt Meager massif near by) at dusk click / enlarge for 4K Ultra
  13. How about a 4c/8t 3770K or a 4c/8t 6700K for 10G ? I have a 4790K, but in use on another Linux setup
  14. ...screenies were from two rigs (2x 2080 Ti; 1x 3090, all 4K Ultra / post-patch). Also, not sure yet which rig to add to rig creator, it's all so limiting - Ravens' nest has 2 cases, five mobos, 4 GPUs (+ iGPU) etc. ...back from 'Paris low level' flights to my neck of the woods (below is the area between Vancouver and Whistler).
  15. 2 packs of this...just restocking on fan rad and other screws as Ravens' nest is seriously depleting the 'pantry'...
  16. ...after 'suffering' through two x 40 GB mandatory patches, it was time for some 4K Ultra fun with the Pitts Special stunt plane in Paris (SLI CFR; single GPU). I start with some '''closeups'''
  17. banned for fishy Charger ramming skills also, connoisseurs watch this from the start
  18. ...started to get into pfense a bit more; adding a pfense system 'on the back' of the Ravens' nest build
