Highlights will get you pretty far, those videos are quite good. Also fair since last race was imo really boring other than the first two and last two laps, weakest one of the season so far. There's just a lot going on outside of the racing as well, between driver swaps, the legality of Ferrari's 2019 PU and the 2020 RP car, new tracks for this year's calendar, and so on.

Anyone been keeping up with F1 at least? This season has continued to be a completely wild ride.

I have in fact been reconsidering. Thinking about a 1080 Ti, which does seem to have aged quite well. Additionally I'd save a few hundred and I'm not entirely sure if I need 2080 Super/Ti kind of power. -
A window regulator on the E46 finally kicked the bucket after 201K+ miles. Instead of the window going down smoothly, it just jerked around and made a loud, splendid crunching sound. That was nice. Just in time for the hurricane too.

Not sure how many folks here have a 3D printer, but I imagine there must be a few. Currently printing something very uninteresting on my Ender 3, but I'll take a pic and post it with an explanation when it finishes in another day or two.

I've been saying I was going to look for a used 20XX card late in the year after new hardware comes out and old prices drop hopefully, but if AMD comes out with something with a competitive price/performance ratio that won't break the bank, I'll happily switch back over. Getting pretty sick of using Nvidia Surround, their control panel is a pretty crap piece of software.

Oh man a CM Stryker! Really wanted one of those back in the day when I just got into PC building, around 2013-14. Thought they looked so much cooler than my 932 (which was already hilariously overkill).

Yeah something similar happened in our iLMS Le Mans 6 hour the weekend before. I started, lap two someone was serving a slowdown way off to the side of the track after missing the second Mulsanne chicane, and they lost control and slid sideways in front of me. He was out of my peripheral vision up until he was right in my face so I had zero time to react. At least 30 minutes of repairs.

Anyone else ever done or regularly does iRacing special events? Did the 24 Hours of Le Mans this past weekend as my first special event with just three people total. Pit lane start to avoid early carnage, so we started around 51st out of 55 I think. We were 27th by the end of the first hour and finished 15th. Was a great experience, but the biggest lesson learned was to do 24 hour races with at least four, maybe five, drivers.

Would have liked to see another dual GPU card for the sheer novelty of it, but the XX90 replacing the Titan is much more practical and probable.

Interesting, I hope they bring something new and unique to the air cooler market, but there's not as much room for that these days. Otherwise yeah, I don't see much of a point. Hopefully we'll get something interesting like Phanteks entering the case market though.

They stated it was to not take attention away from the current riots and protests and whatnot. Didn't quite work the way they wanted it to though, since they got a whole slew of angry replies on Twitter asking why they've never done that before for any other global political issues (Hong Kong, etc.)
