Thanks for the shoutout @leadeater

I am all for inter-community collaborative events. While I cannot judge an entire team based on the comments of a singular person, I am disappointed to see those comments towards @firedfly. It is possible their is some lost context but either way the comment is in poor taste and I would like to think that irrespective of a members contribution, you would not face discouraging comments. I think that communities should always band together for worthwhile causes and the sharing of knowledge, and that should continue. The comments of one person should not erode at that goal.

Nice. Im currently using CB23, 3DMark CPU Bench and CoreCycler. CoreCycler is a sensitive beast and ove had to come down on my CO values to satisfy it. What are you using to run Linpack ? I can see I can use OCCT and set it to test physical and virtual cores, looks like 20478mb memory is default and I would imagine the memory allocated is not important ?

CPS - The New Bully on the PC Playground - Review Discussion
ENTERPRISE replied to Mr. Fox's topic in Review Discussions
Not just yet bud. -
Hey guys, Those of you using Curve Optimizer, what sort of negative values were you able to achieve per core ? Just interested to see. I am currently working on my CO, fairly involved process but getting there. I find it odd sometime that when running CoreCycler at times it will tell me I have an unstable core, on a core where no negative or positive value has been applied which is a little strange, happened a couple of times now...on different cores mind you. Thanks guys!

Released! -
1.1.0.0 has not dropped for my MSI board yet. Though to be honest I am not too fussed as 1.0.8.0 is working out well for me lol.

I think its also Motherboard vendor related. I have no issues on my mobo. I think its unfair to assume AMD are fully to blame. Motherboard vendors are free to make their boards and BIOS as they see fit, aside from socket and anything driven by AMD AGESA . There is a lot that mobo vendors do that is completely outside of AMD's control which can futher exacerbate users issues.

Majority of people are indeed happy with Ryzen systems, but they are certainly not flawless and I have had some teething issues BUT that can be put down to the AM5 platform being relatively new. However I do understand the frustrations as ultimately you would like things to just "work" lol. All in all, while I cannot speak for the current Intel platforms, AM5 is not 100% plug and play, hopefully as the platform matures, it will be easier.

I have added a few which I think will cover most eventualities

OC.net milked me for a while.. Check if you as well...
ENTERPRISE replied to Memmento Mori's topic in Chit Chat General
Trust me, we will always have the minimum possible with respects to that. Always been one of my goals to keep privacy as much as possible, while keeping the site viable. There is a steady balance to be struck, but VerticalScope are all about the money, hence why their scales are tipping toward greed. -
I have no issue in adding some additional options. I will take another look at this on the weekend

Prime example of getting nothing from VS. The fact they take any "membership" at all is disgusting. They offer nothing...other than no ads. However they still harvest the hell out of you even if ads are not displaying. -
I can vouch for the MSI Meg Ace being a really nice board to work with, ultimately I have had no issues.

Resplendence Software - LatencyMon: suitability checker for real-time audio and other tasks WWW.RESPLENDENCE.COM LatencyMon: suitability checker for real-time audio and other tasks Download: https://www.resplendence.com/downloads Scroll down to "System Monitoring Tools" I do not have a realtek LAN but their drivers have been known to be crap, so you never know.

One last thing I did wonder about, did you check your system latency with LatencyMon? If you get extremely high latency based on a system driver, it will eventually hang your system and even force it to reboot. Latency can also be related to the Firmwares and BIOS and it may point you in the right direction. Granted you feel it is your RAM OC, and it could very well be but LatencyMon can give you a real insight to your system. I actually experienced this a couple weeks back and really messed me up as I thought it was my RAM OC, when as a matter of fact it seems to be my 10G LAN driver (Aquantia) that was pulling the whole system down, but it acted as if it was an unstable OC. I did not see it until I ran LatencyMon. Maybe give that a go even if you are switching to Intel, at least then you learned something haha.

You are using your iGPU for the second screen? If I am reading that correctly, I would use dedicated GPU only for all screen output and disable the iGPU in the BIOS. I am still a huge skeptic of mixing two different display technologies on a system with respects to it being a flawless experience. That is one factor you may want to remove as it could be another factor to your problems.

Welcome to ExtremeHW, hopefully you can find a new home here It is really sad with respects to EVGA, I do not know specifically what is happening with their community, but I was super sad to see their exit from the GPU segment
