Ha, that is wicked. Back when I was younger and had little money, I used to really enjoy tweaking my older hardware to play certain titles. It was a fun challenge. If I could get extra performance from tweaking, it was such a thrill lol.

Oh for sure, they handled it as I would expect from any company, not all companies get it right but as a long term user of Plex, I am glad to see they are on the ball. I also realized I have 2FA on my account, another reason why you should use 2FA wherever possible. For anyone wondering, EHW has 2FA if you want to set it up

Thats a nice setup, not really a sim guy but I can certainly appreciate the effort that must go into it, getting it just the way you want. Without looking it up, isn't the 7970 a dual GPU card ? So you essentially have quadfire ?

A pat of on the back of the network infrastructure team! These attacks are always going to grow in strength as time moves one, but so do the defences. That being said these attacks are non AI, imagine once someone properly harnesses that one and uses it, that could be a different story.

That is awesome. Workstation power im a nice small package. However the issue that will trip up most wanting to create an SFF build, cooling potential. All well and good having a tiny mobo but ultimately, you will still need a larger cooler for those XEONS which would look limit how small you can go with the build. -

I scanned this topic and note that it was not mentioned to try a different PCIe power cable from the PSU. I have from time to time seen those go bad as well. -

Yeah I have to say, the IHS could het very messy with a little too much TIM. On the other hand, will be interesting to see how this pans out with Intel. Bypassing this gen personally, but will be interesting nonetheless. -
Somewhat an impressive feat. Not sure how that would affect Folding@Home, if anything they should donate the AI to it haha.

That is true, I had completely forgot about the DG1 ! I still look forward to Intel bringing the competition when they can, a third real contester would be great in the GPU space, hell we could do with a third in the CPU space.
