  1. NOT Obama himself, "includes experienced Democratic aides and former advisers to Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York and President Obama". lol, the founder was also Joe Lieberman's press secretary before going to work for google as a lobbyist. Thanks for cleaning it up for me.
  2. Apple and Google seem spooked by bill requiring more app stores and sideloading ARSTECHNICA.COM Bill would make iOS and Android more open to 3rd-party stores and sideloaded apps. Apple,Google,Amazon,Facebook, and several others are waiting in line at the bank to make deposits for this lobbying group while they were testifying about how they were such good people who wouldn't dream of being a monopoly or violating antitrust laws.... Any politician on their boards should have to report a bias to any committee he/she is on. From a different source---> "The chamber’s volunteer advisory board includes experienced Democratic aides and former advisers to Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York and President Obama, as well as state legislators in Colorado and New Jersey. The chamber also shared a statement from Rep. Ami Bera, California Democrat, saying he was excited to get to work with the group." "Public Citizen’s report showed that four tech giants — Amazon, Apple, Facebook and Google — supplanted Big Oil and Big Tobacco as the dominant lobbying forces in the nation’s capital." <---- This when they were being called to testify,Wonder why they felt so much money was needed?
  3. I just left this in the video's comment section, maybe people will take advantage of it. "Reporting an unsafe product is very important. The U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission compiles these reports and uses them when investigating whether a product should be recalled. In those instances, your experience is often not uncommon and might eventually be traced back to a manufacturer's negligence. https://www.cpsc.gov/ Please forward the data in the video to these people so this wreck can maybe be forced to be recalled. " I ALSO posted the info on the newegg reviews page. Wonder if it'll go through and if it'll last.
  4. Ok, the wife can fly better then me. The xbox controller seems ok on the console so it must be a pc/controller glitch. She moved a couple games and installed Flight Simulator for me to test the controller issue, and her payment was getting to laugh at me when I crashed into the pyramid in gaza and into Mt. Everest.
  5. I watched the full Gamers Nexus vid the other day and was impressed by how many they tested and how they also did the statistics on the reviews. They did a pretty thorough job of covering it I thought. Saying that,it shouldn't have had such a failure rate from a company like Gigabyte.I could ALMOST see those kinda stats from a no name 38 week delivery ali-express power supply, but GIGABYTE?? Makes me scared of any of their products 'till they fix this.
  6. I wonder if the controller issue would be there on the actual xbox?If I get a chance,I'll see about installing it on 1 of our consoles since it's free with game pass and see what happens.
  7. Don't know what phone you're using, but dropbox and google drive both work on mint.(or at least they did on the last editions)
  8. I was gonna suggest the same with the logo, maybe even off set it with a paint that matched the coolant.
  9. Next he'll be suggesting a bitcoin variant just for use on Epic....
  10. Where Epic's and Humble's prices are the same, I wonder if the game key from Humble is locked to Epic? I've bought games before from third parties that opened in certain stores by default and wouldn't work in others. Perfect example is my Witcher 3 game I got with my video card, could only be used through gog. Edit: Ooops, I see we're talking about the Steam linked gaming keys after all. That would be why they're linked to certain stores.
  11. Shortly after October 14, 2025 this meme will start hitting the internet again. When it does multitudes will be saying "I have to get 1 of those for MY computer" their friends will ask if they mean the penguin and the guys will respond "There was a penguin in that meme?"
  12. OMG is your work using aol or netzero for their service? just jking, when I moved over to this side of town,at&t was just starting to offer their 6Mbps service where I lived. Was gonna upgrade when I moved but they where only offering 1Mbps on this side of town(had 3 on other side before the move). That's why I'm with cable internet now, faster speed.
  13. lol, all at once Suddenlink has been cutting my service off completely every night around 6pm until 1-2 am for the last 3 days. During this time I have NO service at all, neither internet or phone. The other 16 or so hours a day I have FULL service at the Full speeds I'm paying for. Since this ONLY happens at night during what's basicly "Prime time" and I use a streaming tv service (sling) instead of paying for suddenlink cable tv I have to wonder if it's related. My friend in the same apartment building I'm in has no loss of service with his internet or phone during these times BUT he also subscribes to cable tv! Am I being targeted?????? They tell me there are "no outages" when I call.... Screenshots show reports from downdetecter.com Oh,I'm in Oklahoma for reference.Edit: It may be of interest to know that I have separate internet and phone modems both supplied by Suddenlink and BOTH go out.
  14. If you just want a game that's a little less intense but is still getting community event updates 6 years after launch and while the community is waiting for the second game to be released, you might wanna try Dying Light. https://youtu.be/TLwBNfGoXDc
  15. Seems it has issues with copper. Scroll down the comments to Nite Hawk(9 months ago) and you'll see what I found. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcH41LpfFt8
  16. Microsoft is more concerned now with their products that are services Such as Office 365 and Xbox Game Pass. Those are 2 money making areas for them, and Game Pass is already available on Xbox,PC,Android, and iOS,so I can see them being available on the Steam OS. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/subscriptions-billing/manage-subscriptions/xbox-game-pass-mobile-intro And THIS from Steams page says it's likely to allow it...
  17. ROTFL, I had this image of everyone pointing @ENTERPRISE and going "SHAME! SHAME!" and making him add a big Red "S" to his Profile.
  18. ROTFL I loved it, "It's not our games fault, but here's a fix for the problem that broke the alpha testers card and then his replacement card in the beta..."
  19. yeah, from the looks the 512GB drives for it seem to go between $115 and $140.
  20. Hmmm,I wonder what the odds are they were stripped before cases were crushed and parts sold off in a separate auction? Crushing done for public reaction on how tough we are on criminals etc.,etc.,....
  21. nice, when my logitech F710 started having some whacked out drift,I said the heck with it and went back to wired since I was sitting at the desk playing anyway and got this cheap 1 https://www.walmart.com/ip/PowerA-Enhanced-Wired-Controller-for-Xbox-Series-X-S-Blue/740384953 actually works & feels pretty nice. lol
  22. the link streamed ok, it was the Controller they were so gungho about that I couldn't get a feel for. Was bigger than my xbox and my logitech F710 wireless ones plus it was plastic and had no real "feel" to it.(other than cheap) When I paired the link with a different controller,it wasn't bad.lol, I still have a comp with a i7 2600 and a gtx 970 hooked up to the same tv,so it really makes no sense for me to even bother using the link. what won't play straight off that comp, can usually stream off my main rig using the old 1. Both have nvidia cards so that helps also.
  23. OMG! I know, They lost me hardware wise when I bought the Steam Link setup at half price and found out what junk it was. Worst $50 I ever wasted. Edit: Ok.$47.00 lol
  24. yeah,I think before I dropped that kinda cash on that,I'd get Game Pass on android(I'm already paying for game pass ultimate so no added subscription price) How to Set Up Xbox Game Streaming and Play Games on Your Phone | Digital Trends WWW.DIGITALTRENDS.COM Want to play your Xbox One games on a phone no matter where you are? You can do so with Xbox Remote Play and a mobile device. Here's...
