My wife might be able to get you a key from her work for an upgraded version. We need you to be able to teamview! She will check Monday. About starting a team, we would need 3 more folders, one to replace me on my team, and 2 more to join the new team. I might be able to convince one of my kids to fold on some other rinky-dink card and OC to the gills, if that sort of thing is allowed. -
One day perhaps I'd like to be a team captain. Not yet though. I feel like I'm still too new at folding and need to learn more.

It's up to 1245MHz now. I've been bumping it by a few at a time. It's never clocked this high before. In 3D benches it would top out around 1225-1230 barely stable enough to bench. This HD 7850 is old as dirt and has been abused much by me over the last decade. I swore it was dead back in May, and now it's clocking higher than ever. It could be more stable because of cleaner power coming from the PSU or the low temperature from water cooling. I'm curious if I can hit 50% overclock. edit: now at 1250MHz

Michele wants and upgrade from her Vega 56 which is juiced to the gills trying to push 4K games. I know a few of you have had some very good luck with snagging these newer cards. I'll be happy to pay a finder's fee, shipping, ect. Reference cards preferred but not required. Once I find one, I'll dedicate that Vega 56 to folding 24/7. Ditto. Woke up to frozen screen again. It might be the SSD, who knows. I powered back on and am running again. Not sure how long it was offline.

That's a very good price for the platinum 1000w. Considering it will be folding at full bore, I would definitely consider higher efficiency. What is the Leadex V? I guess they skipped IV? I thought the III was still pretty new. Even the I and II are awesome but you can usually only find them as EVGA rebrands aka G2 snd G3.

At least I didn't have to tear down my folding rig, but I woke up this morning to the screen frozen, first time it's happened in over a month. I think it might have been Windows forcing an update, since it updated as soon as it was reset. I would use Linux if I knew how to tune GPU clocks and voltages outside of driver limits like in Afterburner. I'm not sure how long it was frozen, but it's been about 12 hours since I checked on it ?

Well yesterday I was working on my son's friend's rig, and I really thought I was going to have to borrow parts from my folding rig, but I had a minor breakthrough troubleshooting, then today I'm out of town and hoping my folding rig doesn't catch fire while I'm gone like Avacado.

Alright, bad news. As much as hate to do this, I need to borrow some parts off of my folding rig to make some emergency repairs to my son's friend's rig. It's going to have to go down tomorrow at least for 6 hours or so at the least, at worst for a few days until I get some more parts.

I'd really like to change out that B450 board with a Threadripper board if I can ever find one around $200. I should have bought that one I saw on ebay a couple weeks ago.

Yeah I remember you saying that before so I have left the VRAM at stock 1200MHz while folding. I'll mess around with lowering it, but like you said it might be better left alone since it hasn't crashed in days.
