This is awesome that there are more teams. If no one joins in time I can have one of the kids join the forum and fold on something as a placeholder so that your team does not fall behind on points. Deadline tomorrow right? -
Hmmm. If it otherwise works and it was a good price, I would consider keeping it. You can find new brackets for dirt cheap. Maybe the seller can even give you a partial refund if it works to go towards a bracket.

@firedfly If you make a new team, my kids said they would "foster" your 2 other team slots until you can find other members, if this is allowed. I might need @BWG to help set me up. They can fold some bobo cards like GT 730 or Vega 7 APU graphics 24/7. I think we would all like to see some more teams entered for more competition.

I actually dialed it back some because it was making that room so hot Back to 1200 core clock (stock is 860). With my luck this card will give up the ghost when the actual competition starts.

I'm really happy with the 1080 I bought from Avacado. The only time it ever had to work hard was when I was benching my Vega 64 with power limits unlocked to 450W and it still kept the water cool. With your folding setup I would probably do one 1080 per 3 cards and build a nice rad box, maybe even pipe the radiators outside except in the winter

My wife might be able to get you a key from her work for an upgraded version. We need you to be able to teamview! She will check Monday. About starting a team, we would need 3 more folders, one to replace me on my team, and 2 more to join the new team. I might be able to convince one of my kids to fold on some other rinky-dink card and OC to the gills, if that sort of thing is allowed.

It's up to 1245MHz now. I've been bumping it by a few at a time. It's never clocked this high before. In 3D benches it would top out around 1225-1230 barely stable enough to bench. This HD 7850 is old as dirt and has been abused much by me over the last decade. I swore it was dead back in May, and now it's clocking higher than ever. It could be more stable because of cleaner power coming from the PSU or the low temperature from water cooling. I'm curious if I can hit 50% overclock. edit: now at 1250MHz

Michele wants and upgrade from her Vega 56 which is juiced to the gills trying to push 4K games. I know a few of you have had some very good luck with snagging these newer cards. I'll be happy to pay a finder's fee, shipping, ect. Reference cards preferred but not required. Once I find one, I'll dedicate that Vega 56 to folding 24/7. Ditto. Woke up to frozen screen again. It might be the SSD, who knows. I powered back on and am running again. Not sure how long it was offline.

That's a very good price for the platinum 1000w. Considering it will be folding at full bore, I would definitely consider higher efficiency. What is the Leadex V? I guess they skipped IV? I thought the III was still pretty new. Even the I and II are awesome but you can usually only find them as EVGA rebrands aka G2 snd G3.
