I love Crytek's games / engine, not least as they're usually SLI-CFR friendly so I better send my TR / 2x 2080 Ti system back to the gym to get ready

Anything's better then taking the dumbed down console version of the original game and "remastering" it and porting it to pc. And then calling it crysis remastered. Hopefully crysis 4 will make me forget about crysis remastered.

I would love for it to be a PC built game from the ground up for sure, it needs to be to live up to its full potential. I really dislike most ported games from console. This may sound PC elitist but I think games coming to PC and console should be made for the PC and then optimized for consoles, not the other way round. 

 

I am not developer but would imagine it is easier to tune something down than it is to try and upscale and better it afterwards for PC.

Yawn.  After Crysis Remastered I could care less about anything Crytek makes anymore.  Let's hope I'm wrong.  Loved the OG Crysis, its still difficult to run on my sig rig.  Warhead was a lot of fun too.  Crysis 2 and 3 were borderline "meh" to me, too much emphasis on consoles and not where their roots came from.  Then Crysis Remastered was like a slap in the face. -_-
