Step Two: Community Articles for the Carousel

Want to write an article for the site that will show up in the carousel? Please let me know!

 

I will be helping out simply as a coordinator to help get new articles up on the site made by anyone here who is interested in writing an article. My role is just to help streamline the process so that it's less work for Enterprise, but this is not a position of authority or moderation, just helping coordinate. 

 

 

What to write about? We're looking for people who want to write about what interests them. It's good if the topic is more current, but it doesn't have to be. If you have something that you feel you can write about with some unique perspective, that's the main thing we're looking for. Please PM me if you are interested and let me know what you want to write about. 

 

Potential ideas: Game reviews, retro is OK too. Unique hardware, mods (software or hardware), OP-ed about anything in the tech market, or whatever other ideas you have!

 

Articles should be at least 5 paragraphs and follow standard essay structure: One intro paragraph, 3 or more body paragraphs, one conclusion paragraph. It should also include at least a couple images when applicable. 

 

 

So let me know if you're interested! I will help make sure the formatting is all good and then submit it to Enterprise for him to post on the Carousel.

@UltraMega this is a good idea, alot of us on the content creation side tend to push out what we can, but having a community reviews section will cut us time for some more polished content.

Unneeded bump.  We're definitely lacking in the amateur reviews section guys!  C'mon, review your garbage you're buying!  I see you guys posting in the "What did I buy today" thread.  Review it!

Oh man, thanks for the bump. I hadn't seen this before, but I can see myself submitting something eventually. I write decently-long Steam reviews, but I tend to buy games late, so I review relatively old games as a result. Maybe I can brush up a few of those and post them here if that'd be appropriate.

I wrote a couple (bad ones) on audio gear I bought.  I don't think it matters that much what you're writing about, so long as its tech oriented and you enjoy it.   Games would certainly fit that category.

A good idea for reviews: games that launched in a poor state but have seen significant changes. Kinda like a BF2042 or BF4 type of situation.
