Not sure if anyone else has seen this, but looks sort of broken:

The problem and potential solution are detailed here:

GITHUB.COM

Is there an alternative cdn? Max cdn has shut down and https://twemoji.maxcdn.com/v/latest/twemoji.min.js is down as well. @WebReflection amend User-land Solution #580 (comment)...

^Note: read through the thread there; it's an interesting one as far as webdev issues go and is not too hard to follow, even for laymen.

Anyway, the paths including maxcdn.com, msxcdn.com and other emojii  img srcs are broken because their respective cdns have been shut down and an alternative cdn must be specified in the settings or code where it's called for, once an (appropriate) alternative cdn is determined. Others are working to make that determination, but as of now, that may or may not happen:

Lastly, OCN gets around the problem by referencing emojiis included in XenForo (the following is one long image sprite):

looks fixed to me

anyway to find some updated ones with better transparency on the edges for dark mode users? I assume not since they're so old but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

if you don't use dark mode:

I could split each gif into individual frames and do it manually but it'd take ages 🙃

Happy for someone to take this on and improve the Classic emoj's and then I can re-upload them. I do not have the time to look into what is needed to be done to fix this at the moment 😞
