From OCN.....  Moved here to increase my homes resale.

I wouldn't say I have any real use for a computer worth more than $200.  I play GTA Online every now and then (same username).  I can play on my 3080ti or I can play on a 1030.  I'm easy to please.  I change hardware a lot simply because I like to see how it runs.  How smooth it is.  How things interact etc.  Really liking the 5800x3d lately.  RAM overclocking is witchcraft to me.  I can slide some scales on afterburner.  Mainly like CPU overclocking (so I bought an x3d 🙄).  I use a chromebook for 2015 (Toshiba Chromebook 2 lol) most of the time.  Pathetic I know.

I ride dirt bikes.  On the trails I take my 2006 ktm 300xc/w everywhere.  Not sure how it still runs with the hell I put it through.  6 months ago I decided I needed a motocross bike for the tracks so I bought a 2017 honda crf450r which has been very fun.

For work I am a programmer for..............no.  I actually build injection pumps/turbos/injectors for truck and tractor pullers.  I run the 5 computers we have there.  Mastercam, solidworks.  The machinists do CNC stuff on 12 CNC lathes and mills.  No idea how to do G-Code.  I can machine manually so I get what I need done by hand 😄

Oh I live in the middle of Missouri, smack dab middle.  I have a degree in industrial electricity, wiring factories etc.  Hated that line of work running conduit and pulling wire so yeah.

Vehicles....

First vehicle.... 1990 F250 7.3 Diesel (Scrapped)

1994 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 5spd (My Dirt Roader/Winter Daily Thinger.  "When all else fails, we don't" vehicle.

1997 Dodge Ram 2500 5spd Cummins (Sitting to die)

2001 Lexus IS300 "2JZ"  (My Daily)

2022 VW Jetta (My Vacationer)

What else.......12/5/1989 (33yo).

I expect one of you to read this at my eulogy in return for me deleting your internet history if you go first.

I think I accumulated 3 8700k's then went to 3 8600k's.  Think they're allll gone now.  Accumulated 10900k's.  12600k, 12700k.  Got rid of those too.  Cept the 10900k's.  I um, have a secret love for them.  Like a V10 M5.

i also enjoy 'you might be a redneck if...' jokes. For example Misery, eh? beats the heck out of Georgia:

Welcome!

I enjoyed the more in depth introduction. I grew up in rural Kansas so I have an appreciation for 4x4s and dirt bikes even though it's been a while since I've had either of them.

Lol thanks. I used to go by Sirt0astalot but I wanted something cool and less l337 gamer sounding. I actually was flipping through a thesaurus looking up cool words to pair with Flux when I came across maven.

I think a lot of people misread it as Fluxmaiden or something because apparently a lot of people thought I was a girl for a long time.

Discovering that you are not a girl probably put some of them into the state of flux.
