A lot of high-power fans controlled by minimal MB headers 🤷‍♂️ (without getting near overloading said header)?

Edit:  Possibly simplify cable management as well?

Yeah it makes for cleaner cable management, specially if your customize the length of your fan cables, this would leave you with 1 cable per radiator. I did the same thing kinda with mine and Splitty9's, just took a lot of tape. That's how you get this clean with 63 fans and I got lazy and could of made it even cleaner.

Mostly both of those; though I'll be using an AC Quadro to control fan speed. Also, I'll be able to use one strip per 2x 360 rads since I'll only be using fans in push. Two loops, each with two 360 rads side by side (little fat boy and fat thin man). Two AC channels for 4x rads.

Is that a CaseLabs product?  I'm only vaguely acquainted with their former offerings.  Just reminds me of their "style".

Dual D5 pump/Res combo showed up today. I'm going to be cutting up one of the two side brackets I've got for the Yuel Beast Atlas II to facilitate mounting it in the Atlas II (I'll be taking the middle vertical and horizontal supports out of the one I need to cut up). Pix follow (haven't removed the plastic protective wrap yet).

Yeah, I recently saw some of it up close and noticed just how nice/professional it can look. Also ordered 3M Tape Primer 94 1/2 Pint 8oz For Vinyl Di-Noc (in pen form as well), just in case I end up needing it.

Looks like I won't use that side bracket after all. The long sides of the stock bracket are a bit too wide for my liking fitting wise, so instead I picked up four feet of 1/8" (0.125) thick 1/2" wide cold rolled steel plate and cut it to size. I'll drill it tomorrow, then clean it up, prime it,  and paint it flat black. Should suit my needs perfectly.

Here ya go; solid as a rock. It's a dry test fit of course and I might or might not swap out the white for black or another color. I'll likely also add small rubber washers where the brackets join the rest of the Atlas at those four corners (to support a small amount of vibration isolation).

6900xt $1,049.99 $50 over MSRP

It's weird that I paid over $1000 for a GPU that's $50 over MSRP and I feel like I got a good deal.  But it's a hell of a deal for the CPU.

Yeah, 5900X at sub $400 is a no brainer for sure!

As for GPU's, most of them seem to be getting very close to their MSRPs now. I know the Micro Center here has had AMD cards sitting on shelves for months now.

So looking at that box, is it a reference style 6900XT?

Great minds think alike. 🙂  Yesterday I went to look at a 2.5RS for a parts car.  No dice on the car since the tranny was shot and the motor had a bunch of top end and bottom end racket.  The local MicroCenter is more than an hour from my house, so I decided stop in and browse around for a bit while I was in the area.

6900xt.thumb.jpg.f191e2319e3b05001ca5723caeb78f7f.jpg

I've had the block and backplate since they were released, and I was just waiting for a reference card at something close to MSRP.

Yep reference 6900XT, and props to PowerColor for the minimal packaging.  Last thing I need is another giant GPU box.
