No longer fasting. Did it as a challenge with some friends who are all (including me) in need of hitting reset and getting back on track on proper diets and exercise, transitioned from that fast over to a whole food plant based diet for a little while. Will reintroduce some lean meats in due time... Threw out the salty garbage and sugar filled drinks.

 

The claim according to the research I was shown is that the fasting period will lower insulin and blood pressure and give your taste buds a kick so you enjoy proper food a bit more.

 

Some of them are looking to go beyond 48 hours but 2 days is all I was willing to do at home. I used an electrolyte powder in my drinks twice a day to make sure I didn't have any issues.

banned coz kudos & good for you ...doing a cleansing and diet can be really healthy in the long term. Now, you just have to do some extensive weight training (you can lift Leo and Gus twice a day for starters) so that you can get out of ward 17

I used to lift 2 hours a day up until 2014. Was a maniac with it. Just kind of fell right off when I moved here. Didn't have anybody to go to a gym or walk with I guess, and still don't .. It's amazing what 6 years of sitting and SAD diet will do to you. Have had enough though, getting that in order.

 

Attempting to lift that sink would certainly blow out an artery at this point , but deaf n dum leo could do it (not that he's really deaf, but he has an amazing penchant for not hearing anything anybody says, unless it's food related)

 

I love that movie. Think I'll give it a watch for anxiety reductions tonight.

Sure the artwork will sell...also, we can put Leo & Gus on the payroll for a new art project - lay down a white canvas on the floor, put chickinz on a hook and line connected to a computer fan above their heads, have Leo & Gus walk through thick paint and then let the chase begin. We can sell a limited print run and call it "Life's Struggles of Want"
