@Mistio ^^nice !  After all that roaming instead of doing the missions, I'm finally on my way out of the Corpo hotel w/ the booty ?

BTW, you had asked above about 'Psycho' settings ? I ran them in the Corpo hotel, 4K / high textures / DLSS 'Quality' / RTX full Psycho (apart from the last screen shot which is one setting below 'Psycho')

...'jelly making' isn't the intent, and fps are nothing to write home about with those extreme settings, but I can't get over some of the eye candy ? ...still, I very much hope we can get a NVL/SLI patch one day...

I tried but the game runs horrendous.
Takes 3 minutes to load Downtown.
The bright side you can listen to the whole news snippet while you wait.

Then when you get into combat there are moments where she freezes.

I cannot compare before the patch because I could not advance far enough in the game.

I will stick to my laptop as I had zero game breaking bugs or crashes.
I do not want to tempt fate.

New patch was just released 1.06.

Do you have the game installed on an SSD? I bet that makes a huge difference in this game.

When playing, I usually toggle just one setting  (RTX max <> Psycho). The good thing about Cyberpunk 2077 is that you can change settings 'on the fly' w/o losing the flow. Also, RTX modes override many of the other settings::

Spoiler

BTW, picked up about 3 fps +- (all else equal) by kicking in the TR 2950X special NUMA mode...this only works on the 2-chip Zen+ TRs, afaik. And per @UltraMega 's post, yeah - SSD (or better) is a must...even wondering about RAM drive for CP '77

first game that makes me feel like I need to upgrade my 1080 Ti :(

"Following the River" (from the cop) and the "Dream On" missions (from the politician couple) are better than any of the story missions, fwiw :D

Yeah. Its on an SSD.
Without the AVX patch as a corpo things went well :). 20 min game crash was the price for admission *hahah*
Its okay, my laptop cuts this like a hot knife through butter.  Running it on a 2TB EVO + 3500 MB/s NVME.

Playing 1080p cos I am a dinosaur.

Doing the preacher mission now :).

Not gonna spoil but there are a few freaky missions.
If you take the time to read some of the text snippets in the game you won't be sorry for smashing everyone with a katana / mantis blades without mercy. I reached a point where I see NPCs as gang members and they completely ignore me. Some even have their brain dance on while others take a piss / smoke. My V has one motto : 'gut like a fish first, ask questions later'.

I finished the game. Mixed feelings so to say. Especially after the leaked dev reddit post where they will bring out two major patches. One in March, one in July and by December, the 2018 game they had in mind will be released. I will never experience this first hand in a complete form sadly.

Without spoiling too much, I will say that the potential of this game was insane. The parts that were not cut too much were very good and felt like they should, however, there were many hours where you feel a big disconnect between V and the world. The city is also fractured and you do not spend enough time to interact and understand the gangs in Night City. I might be a minority but I liked the way Keanu Reeves portrayed Silverhand. What I did not like is the 'let us see what happens' approach regarding him and V. I sometimes asked myself who was the main protagonist? V , Silverhand? Both? Anyways, by the time this game is released with all the DLCs and missing content, I should have a new rig and bask in 1440p or pure 4K.

^^kudos for finishing the game ! I also have to read up more about the leak on upcoming patches.

So far, I only have about 7 hrs in (it's been busy...) and I am at the stage now where  I ( V?) and Johnny Silverhand argue a lot. Then again, I got Cyberpunk 2077 mostly for free-roaming through the eye-candy, and the visuals are beyond stunning.  I had SLI CFR running briefly in-game (post splash screens and menus) at 4K native but when I wanted to change a graphics setting, it froze. I used my trusty Flight Simulator 2020 CFR driver and settings, but more options to explore. Either way, on a big (40 inch) 4K monitor, it is also very immersive, though I am toying with the idea of getting a VR set for Cyberpunk 2077 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020...   the latter just released a 14 GB patch, with VR now.

There is no stress to finish the game.
Take your time. I will give you a tip, read only if you are interested.

I am now working through the remaining endings :).

PS: the best achievement in game is the SuperHero landing one :)

Spoiler

The way you handle the relationship between Valerie/Vincent and Johnny will define one of the endings. I did not know this and given what Johnny does to you in the beginning I was very cautious with him. I warmed up and we started becoming a team but it was too late for me to have enough direction on the path that opens up the V&JS ending.

Some more pics on day :).  Oh and the 'Spanish Inquisition' meme was funny :)

Things they don't tell you:

Pick puppies first. 50 kills later you get the best gun.

Turn on the music.

Feed the cat.

Skippy is not the best gun in the game :).

One of the best ones is given to you by River or Silverhand's mate.

Johnny's gun is nice to RP when you take certain decisions at the end. You will also combine it with his full outfit and Porsche.

Skippy is nice and fun because of the dialogue lines you hear when you use it. You cannot upgrade Skippy or change it. THere is an Legendary Equivalent, I think its called Yukimura or something. No dialgoue :(.

I picked puppies by default because I had my Satori / Mantis blades for brutality.

I have 4 Legendary Katana's stronger than Satori but I like the poetic justice to use this one when cutting Arasaka.

I also use Overwatch as my main sniper even though O'Five has more damage.

There is also a  Smart SMG which is amazing and has 1600 DPS. You get this one on the roof in an area where you got the poorest Ripper Doc in the game. Poor guy has blood everywhere on the seat and floor.
