  1. There is always a little delay before you see the points on the EOC website, plus if you miss the update "deadline" you'll see it 3 hours later. The Stanford website is a bit faster, but I don't have any exact numbers. Did it show up the next update? Sorry to hear that, is it still fixable?
  2. That's a lot of points, more than I can get right now! I have a pair of AMD cards that I will sell soon, not enough points per watt compared to the nvidia cards I have. That's pretty cool, totally missed it
  3. Haha, it would be really cool if I had the power to get 5mil and 150+ units each update Did you ever try to fold on all your hardware at the same time? I wonder what your ppd would be.. (so I know what to upgrade for the next competition)
  4. I've had a random issue with F@H the past few days. After booting a system the client starts in the background, but instead of opening the already running application it somehow tries to start the advanced control again. It shows "connecting" and does not continue. If I don't double click the F@H app but instead navigate to the hidden icons I see the "sleeping" F@H icon, right click and "open advanced control" and it works like it should.
  5. It looks like I had a few missing units being credited, 5 million points and 173 units in one update @ENTERPRISE Thanks for looking into the docs implementation! @Mistio It's a race where everyone has an even chance of winning, and we all help the research! ?
  6. Sounds like a lot of work. Are you sure you won't be joining the competition that starts in a few hours with one of the systems?
  7. I was just checking this thread for the time and date Looks like I can play Valhalla for a few hours before this one starts Again, congrats on that huge milestone! All the points are welcome here ?
  8. It only happened on my main system, but all of them are windows. Maybe one day I'll switch the second system to an other OS
  9. I'm trying to find those arms for sale so I can donate them, no luck so far Making the system easy to work on might be a good thing, lifting a fully build rig like that is not the best thing to do!
  10. I still hate myself for getting rid of my ATCS 840 case. It also had a motherboard tray, something that should be used on more of the high-end cases. That's a nice setup! I know how you feel about taking not enough pics. I had so many builds, cool setups and things like that but I only have a few pictures from them. Looking forward to the Q300L build, looks like a nice compact case to build in
  11. It was turned off.. But Microsoft does not care about what you prefer, installing Edge is more important!
  12. No way, I had the exact same thing happen. System was down, and I had no idea why. So I started the system and it was finishing a windows update. And all the update sh.. was turned off.. 2 threads should be enough per gpu ?
  13. Perfect example of the impact from being tired. For that same reason, I take a day off to build a system or do it in the weekends. Switching a GPU or a fan is fine, but that's it I totally agree, it takes more time to fix the mistakes! Not grinding down cut edges from casemods is also a good way to cut your hand. Now I mention that, I've once had a few metal pieces in my eye working on a casemod (now I wear glasses everyday)
  14. Here are a few pictures I found after searching my old backup drives. I've had this case for over 10 years, and it has seen a lot of different hardware. I did a few small mods to it, in those years, but nothing special.
  15. I once had to fix a pc for someone, ended up returning it without touching the thing...
  16. Performance beats emotional value, so I would go for the 4790k! (Even in grey-scale the old board looks nasty ) I have some old hardware on the top shelf of a display cabinet, It's nice to be able to look at it sometimes.
  17. I'm guilty of this too, matching rgb and sleeved cables on every build
  18. @SamsTechStuff Where are you? We need your help!
  19. Glad to hear you are doing better, but banned anyways! ** that virus...
