Here are a few pictures I found after searching my old backup drives. I've had this case for over 10 years, and it has seen a lot of different hardware. I did a few small mods to it, in those years, but nothing special.

I once had to fix a pc for someone, ended up returning it without touching the thing...

Performance beats emotional value, so I would go for the 4790k! (Even in grey-scale the old board looks nasty ) I have some old hardware on the top shelf of a display cabinet, It's nice to be able to look at it sometimes.

I'm guilty of this too, matching rgb and sleeved cables on every build

The fan that was able to cut my finger was a premium one, a Scythe ultra kaze 120mm 3000 rpm fan. That thing was a beast and a skinpeeler

Haha, it is true that people have mixed opinions about most of the innovative designs. But now everyone who knows that I love BMW's keeps bugging me about those new designs Just look at those wheel arches, isn't that enough aerodynamics for you? I totally understand the way it goes, and most of the modern cars look pretty good because we are used to those designs. Imagine someone looking at those cars 50 years ago, I don't think they would like them..

Can we go back to cars like that? (with more safety equipment) It just looks so perfect I've always been a huge BMW fan, but a lot of their designs from the last few years are disgusting...

I totally understand that, and although it's a silly number I still miss it

I still have the HAF 932, 360 rad in the top and 240 rad in the front. Spray painted all the grey metal black, removed the hdd cage and the bottom of the 5.25" cage. It's still one of my most favorite cases and it has seen a lot of different hardware

Fair point, but pausing it for 2 or 3 hours isn't that big of a deal. I like to plan my game time, if I'm in the mood, so the system can finish whatever it's working on.

I can live with it, the fact that I'll get the card that I wanted in the first place makes it acceptable. One thing that I forgot to say, it was a used card. That's why I said that I couldn't find one close to my hometown. They already updated me that the person who received the card will send it back asap, fingers crossed

Killing the power before a unit finishes will hurt the unit. If you are lucky it'll save most of the work and continue as soon as you start folding again. But all the time the system is down will lower the QRB by a lot. The faster you return a unit, the more points you'll get. That's why the high power hardware is so good, finishing the big units in less than 2 hours. I like your plans, and all the help is welcome! On another note, my rma'd 2080s was fried so they sent me an other one. They didn't have the Gigabyte card available that I returned, so they offered me the MSI 2080s gaming x trio. No problem, I like that one even more but couldn't find (a used) one as close to my hometown as the Gigabyte one. Now the best part, they sent it to someone else by mistake... I hope it'll be back in time for the comp, but just to be sure I added something else to the fleet of GPU's
