  1. Personally I am thinking it is not a RAM issue, just a gut on this one. I would imagine it is something to do with the BIOS and bifurcation. That being said, when you get your RAM, be sure to run a full pass of MemtestX86 on it. I do this when diagnosing and for new RAM. I also especially use it for validating overclocks.
  2. I had an inkling they would do this. It certainly would not be enough just to do it at driver level as that is easy to bypass.
  3. Have you tried running the system fully stock. No OC ? I know it seems like the obvious thing but whenever I diagnose these issues I drop all Overclocks to remove that as a factor immediately and see if the behaviour continues. Have you also locked your CPU base clock to 100Mhz? Sometime any variation in that can cause PCIe instability. I have noticed some systems (Mainly Ryzen) adjust the base clock if set to auto, not sure if it is something to do with the behaviour of PBO. Worth possibly manually setting this to 100 so the BIOS/PBO do not get any ideas. I can also vouch for that G.SKILL RAM as that was my prior very well serving kit on my Ryzen systems (Including TR) prior to upgrading to 64GB. Not that I would encourage it while you are diagnosing issues, but you can get that kit up to 3600/3800. Lastly, do you have the latest BIOS with latest AGESA for your motherboard ?
  4. I will take a pic of mine when I fit my GPU block. I actually have to force my side panel shut haha.
  5. ENTERPRISE...That name rings a bell for some reason. Good to see you here
  6. Enjoying this rendition
  7. Yeah, I have not had a chance to do any testing, going to check out which cooler I can fit in this thing so I can test it.
  8. Nice !, shame about the colours and logo though ?
  9. https://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards-Components/Motherboards/All-series/WS-X299-SAGE/ 7 Slots, fingers crossed I will be ok.
  10. Nice Cheers, Though kind of hoping that I will not need them.
  11. Yeah to be honest, it is a nice feature but to be honest it is like closing the stable door after the horse has already bolted. I think the idea of allowing users to disable it ONLY if they had 2FA enabled was a good compromise, but I guess not.
  12. Nice ! Thanks for feeding the cat, probably hungry travelling all that distance.
  13. Shared this on our social media ! Will complete form shortly too.
  14. ENTERPRISE

    new case

She did a fine job !
  15. That is fair enough, you will still beat me to it so I will wait until you find out before I slam an order down. Oh... don't you just hate that but thanks for the link. Helps save some cash. What...wait, that seems rather cheap. Clearance I guess.
  16. Sorry to hear you were hospitalised, that must have been a real bummer. Glad you are out and on the mend. Looks like the universe thought you were due some wins haha, congrats on all of them :).
  17. Yeah, so I do not think it will be getting an alteration anytime soon I am afraid. Filtered emails is the only option I can offer at this point as the core development team for IPB see this as a security risk, even though I would argue that if users wanting to disable were forced to use 2FA that it would still be an acceptable level of security. Alas, out of my hands.
  18. Oh erm not sure. They are purchased and with my guy in the US for testing and then shipping to me. I was just about to ask if you had torn down one of your M40's yet per chance and seen what thickness thermal pads they were rocking.
  19. At some point we will have our own dedicated stats site for EHW, However I am happy to have a domain setup for any custom stats/site that has to be created in the meantime if that becomes the case.
