  1. You want more trolls lol. Banned for wanting to be King troller, leader and master of all the trollers from the land of Trolldom.
  2. Not bad. Been a while since I owned an AMD card, but If I remember rightly the memory OC headroom is a lot tighter than Nvidia counterparts ?
  3. My first go to when I ever get issues like this is to completely removed the driver software and AMD software related to the GPU with DDU, remote MSI Afterburner including any files or registry entries it leaves behind. The re-install the latest driver (or driver you know is good) from AMD and re-install the latest version of MSI afterburner. So many times have I found it is usually a driver that has had a hiccup somewhere that causes all these little but really annoying issues.
  4. The only reason I would possibly get one is I am thinking of ditching SLI, so I might as well sell both 2080Tis, get a single 3080Ti...and the rest is profit ?! lol.
  5. Nice improvement, what clocks are you running on the 2070 ?
  6. That is true, I forget the 2060/2070 have it, just less tensor cores. Unless AMD pull out something fantastic out of the bag this round, I still see myself going the 3080Ti route.
  7. Nice find, so did either of those methods fix it for you ?
  8. Same as that. I am thinking 6K possibly 6.5K. If it is 8K then frankly that is an insane leap. So will the cost I reckon haha.
  9. Looks like they are taking a page out of Nvidia's book in keeping RT a premium exclusive. I am semi surprised, I thought AMD may have decided to appease the masses by making hardware accelerated RT available to the masses. Odd.
  10. Deepfakes. One of those technologies that has a clear double edge sword issue. Really funny and has its place, possibly in the film industry. However though its use can be really perverted into something fairly awful. Though it is funny to see Jay Z trying to fight this.
  11. Hey all, So like the title, who is tempted by Ampere, the new Nvidia 30 Series ? I know I am thinking about it but I am still thinking the leak/rumor of the 3080Ti specs are a little steep! Source: https://www.tweaktown.com/news/72152...gpu/index.html I wonder if the new series will take advantage of PCI-E Gen 4 ? I do know if I went with a new GPU from the Ampere serious, I am dropping SLI. **EDIT** Found this video which is informative, speculation, but sensible I find.
  12. Odd, that must be a limitation of the embedding.
  13. Personally they should have had this from the start, but as @axipher says, after a differential there should always be a verification between the local and remote files to make sure everything is in good order.
  14. Actually one recommendation I would make is to freeze the title bar, when you scroll down the sheet it would be good for that to follow with you so you can tell what column conforms to what, I just found that out now when doing a little more browsing.
  15. That is awesome ! That certainly must take a while for you to collect all this data, or at the very least it has been a while in the making. This will be something I will use for quick reference for the next solid state drive I purchase.
  16. Certainly glad to have you with us. Please remember to message me as per this post to claim your prize: https://extremehw.net/forum/main-forum/promotions-contests/5029-fight-covid-19-win-prizes-folding-home-starts-midnight-08-04-20?p=5719#post5719
  17. Oh really ? I mean they have a forum too so you were half right haha. On another topic guys, so far as the GPU's for this build, the Nv 1070's look like a fairly decent balance between cost vs PPD but wondered if anyone else had suggestions or possibly an idea of an AMD counterpart to look at ? Cheers guys.
  18. Wow for every WU ! Blimey that would take silly amounts of time, that would be a job by itself right there lol.
  19. I think the new system is better, will have to see what others think. Thanks for taking the time to improve it bud. By the way how did you collect all this data ?
  20. Haha could be. Will know before the CFP is finished anyway so that is good.
  21. Possible step in the right direction, lets just hope they are focusing on improving the longevity of their screen life as well. Yes im the naysayer but I hate watching consumers running beta programmes for companies.
  22. That is the trick, especially with poor cable management...no lights...no problems :friends_gathering:
  23. Hahah I like it man, but the question is....what you mining ? Did you find an @Simmons down there ?
