EHW Merch?

Is there any EHW merch available like hats or T-shirts with the logo?

 

I'm pretty good with graphics design and could come up with some t-shirt designs if there's any interest in it.

Made a News Editor Badge card like 6 month ago for fun on a website. But aint got any event near me lol so never made a purchase but it looked damn cool

EHW Merch is something that I would likely do very limited runs on, as apposed to having an always open shop like experience. Mainly due to the manpower my end to get everything sorted and shipped is not something I would like to do as a long term thing. 

 

This would be more of a purchasing a certain amount of T-Shirts, Mugs , caps etc at limited stock, then once it is gone, its gone, until the next time we choose to do a merch run.

I want a Mug for sure, but not some shitty mug. Not a mug that you put in the dishwasher and the embossed finish chips off after 3 washes. I would pay more to have a mug that can last forever in the washer and not chip, fade or tarnish.

Same but for T-shirt or hoodie.  Realistically, I'd be down for a T shirt or hoodie.  If its some cheap clothing that'll rip or tear easily just tossing in the washer and dryer.....meh.  I tend to try to keep clothing for years and years.  I hate it when it rips, shrinks, or fades easily after a few runs in the washer and dryer. -_-

Could just make a thread with logo ready to download. So we can choose what we want. I think you can order cup and tshirt per unit on most website no?

Unfortunately my mom sold her embroidery machine when she moved earlier this year. Could have made some cool stuff.

 

I might just make or commission a small batch of stickers since those would be cheap to mail to everybody. I'll have to experiment a bit. I know at least one of the silhouette vinyl cutters works. I haven't touched my wide format photo printer in a couple years so it might be fubar from neglect lol.

I'd love a hat personally. Since there's interest and so forth I will eventually get around to making some designs with the logo and see what people think.

They won't be that limited lol. Think more along the lines of participation award. For now I'm just talking about stickers of the existing logo. If I were to come up with something original, I'd run it by E for approval before making anything.

Happy for people to use the Logo for "Member Made" merchandise If we look to do something on a more permanent basis then will look to check the quality with people.

Not a bad shout. I would be happy to look at a run of case badges, their quality looks decent! May look into Mugs or something similar. Clothing I may consider next time.

Alright guys, sorry for the long delay on this thread.

 

I thought that if we are going to have merch, that we should add ".net" to the existing logo so if people see us wearing a t-shirt they'll know it's a website and maybe check it out and join. If I can get a shirt, I'd go to Microcenter and wear it, etc. I think people are far less likely to just look up ExtremeHW or what looks like XtremeHW because of how the E looks in the logo. So, I have been going back and forth with Enterprise for a week and he approved usage of the logo I made with .NET on the end. I could not use the exact font but I used a similar one and manually stretched it to about the same thickness as the original. Also attached is a zip file containing the GIMP .xcf as well as a .psd of the logo.

Here is a black logo with "pushing it to the limit" centered and in medium gray, this one is for use on a black hat (baseball cap). Though it will probably be up to Enterprise to find a good cap maker online. (For t-shirts I suggest redbubble).

Retro T-shirt. Not sure I'm totally happy with it but w/e. Have more ideas/plans for shirts tomorrow

 

 

The japanese at the top says Extreme Hardware and the japanese on the bottom of the logo says "pushing it to the limit"

Not entirely happy with the way the retro/vaporwave one turned out. I think it is going to take some more work. I was not sure what to put between the synthwave grid and the logo, also the logo when colorized to magenta ended up looking more purple than magenta. I wanted like one of those electrical engineering diagram things between the logo and the synthwave grid (which is missing it's bottom), but maybe I should put a generic icon of a pc or a picture of a voltmodded GPU with pots and caps on it. Any suggestions welcome.

I don't think the logo recolor works well with things like the gradient or whatever this is supposed to be. I'd just flatten the whole logo and make it the same color as the other text. 

 

 

As for the other ideas, I think the modded GPU would look cool to fill that space.
