@speed_demon ...don't know if you know this channel or not, but you might get a kick out of it (never mind the H2 1000 Kawa 4 Cylinder 2 stroke as a sample below). He also built a bike with a Viper V10 - and a whole bunch in-between...I find this channel strangely relaxing in a gear-head sort of way...

Nice, how'd you do it? I've got a couple little dents on my VW's hood from brushing a deer a while back that I've been meaning to address. I got REALLY lucky with that one.

t-bar slide hammer and pull tabs.

if any of your dents are irregular, creased, or on a body line I'd probably just pay to have someone else do it. PDR sucks

Fascinating. The channel has some pretty entertaining videos on it I will definitely be adding a few to my watch later list.

Neat that worked better than I would have expected. The Lexus has a couple small dents I'd like to try and pull out at some point. Need to get the back bumper scratches fixed first though. And do something about the rusty trailer hitch... Seems like body work on a used car never ends.

Costco loading area was quiet, so took some pics....

Not sure if I have added this here, but got the rear calipers replaced and brake fluid flushed because the RR caliper failed on my and started to slightly catch fire. Lost a centre cap in the process, and they're back ordered until June (Thanks Titan7....)

Other than that, the new exhaust is really nice and barely louder than stock until you got WOT above ~6k RPM. And I *really* need to get those bushings/mounts replaced because its getting tough to be smooth between gearshifts with the flobbery diff/engine/trans mounts.

Most of these kind of cars only come with run-flats (this is my 3rd X5). Over the years, run-flats have greatly improved compared to their early years - and so far at least, the new Pirelli Scorpions are super-smooth even over rougher roads yet handle well.

My '98 Prelude with the H22A was such a great car, except you had to near redline to have any usable power.   I do miss it at times..  The VQ37VHR in my G37 is also high rpm power (redline is at 7500 w/ peak 330hp at 7000, peak torque of 276ftlbs around 5200) but the torque curve is fairly decent so it's much more usable day to day.

That said, I need new rear tires.. have a chunk/flat spot on the General G-MAX AS-05's already...  Which is funny because when I bought these over the prior AS-05's I had I could tell right away they changed the tire or maybe I just got a bad batch.  They now discontinued the AS-05's and are offering the AS-07's but I think and from what I've read spending the extra $20 per tire and getting some Continental Extreme Contact DWS-06 Plus' is probably worth it.  Being I live in FL I should just go with summer tires but I already spend enough on replacements as is with this boat of a car.

Lightweight low power cars don't eat through tires very fast unless you are actually tracking the car. This past season I finally came close to killing the RT615K+ on the Miata. I'll find a nice parking lot to drift in and finish them off this summer.

I want to get different wheels on the Mustang, but I have a pretty fresh set of Pilot Sports on the stock wheels that I'd like to get some more use out of before I go spend a fortune on a staggered setup.
