Datavac can't get into some of the nooks and crannies, at least not w/o complete disassembly (I rather not; dust is not that bad). Anyhow, general Datavac round as 'final' after all the major nooks and crannies stuff is done ?

I prefer blowing air rather than sucking air for cleaning PCs. I am tempted to get one of those blowy-matrons - but there's so much stuff on Amazon that's just drop-shipped aliexpress guff with a 100% markup

Normally, I look forward to new hardware arriving, but the 1080ti's arrive today which will require a lot of work. Gotta drain 2 loops.

I feel this, draining loops is something I hate doing... But receiving new hardware on the other hand really makes up for that!

So basically you bought air? :classic_biggrin:

Same, though mine stops at 8bar / 120psi. 13gal/2hp, sweet little compressor for every job

Sapphire ATI Radeon HD2900XT 1GB.  Scored this one for $37 I think it was in a bid war.  No thank you to the people above (although an Athlon XP rig is something on my list) on the GPU's.  I'm now only missing the X1950, HD7970, and R9 290x for PCIe GPU's, with the exception missing a 5700XT (I think we all are wanting a high end card lol).

This is getting to be fun hunting down all this tech history.

Some of us use both, as well as a portable oil-less panhead compressor when the going gets really tough.

I was never a fan of it, the residue it left behind or the bittering agent that got in my nose to prevent the crack-heads from huffing it. But I get it. I have yet to find a small enough need where the datavac isn't usable. Though I don't have any idea what a oil-less panhead compressor is. #ManShame

That'll be an expensive trip from the Netherlands to Canada just to clean your system :classic_laugh:

...I was talking about cleaning the whole place around here, for economies of scale ?  ...anyway, international travel is probably not such a good idea right now, what with quarantine requirements, travel bans etc.

...for the record, I have a Datavac but for the tight nooks and crannies (ie. the bit on a w-cooled GPU between the PCB/VRM and the acrylic part of the block) I prefer the 'air in a bottle', compared to Q-tips etc.

Sweet chair, I have a similar racing style chair that had the foot rest as well. Im 6'3" 210 and about snapped the thing off with the weight of my legs. I just removed it. You aren't missing out.  The one upgrade I made that I love is replacing the wheels. I have hardwood floors and they made all the difference.

I'll likely be making the RX 6700 my main gaming GPU.  Then just need to decide if I upgrade the wife's GTX 1050 Ti to the RX 5700, or leave her on the slot-powered GTX 1050 Ti.

Either way, the 5700 or 1050 will become a full-time folding card for the TC.

I got two 6800xts today from this alert stream. Tried to order 5, but only got 2.

Though yes it's still really hard to get one, stream, shuffle, or otherwise.
