Those are some healthy 1070s, Im on Ubuntu running +100 core and I am about 10% slower than you.

I'm still increasing clocks because 70% is something new in trying, but currently +80. Are yours water cooled?

Oh yeah, if you're doing boinc on all threads! I'm folding mine on 14 of 16.

Ok, well Florida had a rare little thing called a Cold Front. Now that i dont have to run my A/C 24/7 i decided to bring out all my hardware. I aint no 7th Realm God like Avacado or Bastiaan. But hopefully i can nip at the heels of the gods like a chihuahua. Added in a GTX 780, RX 570, R9 270X, and a Intel i3-9100f. The other board is only a skylake pentium so it already has its hands full just trying to exist. Of course the MSI ITX Board for the 9100f refuses to be stable in existing so only 2 cores folding for the 9100, 3 it crashes because why not. Added up its about another 900-1mil ppd on top of the 2x 980tis that have been consistent at 2.8mil. Woo.

2.8 mil for 2 980s is damn good!

I dig that setup too!

Powerlevels, coreclock and enough CPU cores make a lot of difference.

I see around 10% increase in TPF if the CPU is busy (not 100% usage). Increasing the powerlevel comes with extra heat and costs, that's up to you.

Looks around to find his old GPU's. oh right, eBay bought them all. I'll just never stack up to the Gods. I've always got the xx70 cards and no RTX yet. All I can do is race tier 2 which I shall.

I'm surprised I'm still always beating axipher. ;)

That isn't hard, I've never had high-end gear and we have been playing a lot of FF XIV Online lately which doesn't kill the PPD, but reduces it significantly...

I still have my Sabertooth 990 FX and my X6-1100T and my FX-8150, I think I still have the 1866 MHz G.Skill memory too, but would need PSU, cooler and case to get that thing going again if it even still works.

An FX system is why I have the extreme cooling setup I have now... ever cpu folded with an FX clocked to 5.2 ghz?... I did by accident, didn't know the client would auto start when installed... was planning on just folding on my 7950's

...I ran a few quick 3DM PCIe 3.0x16 vs 4.0x16 tests, per pic below...results are obviously more theoretical at this point. Still, with folks looking to connect multiple cards via riser cables for folding, the next question becomes PCIe. 4.0 '''potentially capable''' riser cables.  HardwareCanucks did a recent comparison (with results table) per YT vid >> here...

That is a cool test, the bottom is cut off, but the 26.26GB is bandwidth @4.0? This is "Currently" not relevant to folding as you get 100% PPD @ 8x on PCI-e 3.0. Meaning ANY bandwidth above is just over kill.  And it also means don't pay the premium for 4.0 risers when 3.0 risers on a 4.0 capable lane will do just fine.

...yeah, 26.26 GB is the 3090 / PCIe 4.0 on Asus X570 PCIe 4.0 mobo...as mentioned theoretical for now but with multiple risers / add-in cards each w/ multiple GPUs, could be an issue down the line (or not)

Yeah, I was considering new risers, but nah! I have a few of them. 1 is in my Son's rig and the other is going in that blue PC when I break the SLI up.

Don't think I didn't notice that 2.8 mil update @Bastiaan_NL. Thanks for letting me hold the #1 spot for a bit, felt good to be back on top, even for a short while. I suppose it's what I get for crushing your hopes and dreams all those past tourney's before you got the 3090's.

2.89 mil :classic_rolleyes:

To be honest, besides a few hours of gaming I was really trying.
Picked up a few units for 4 mil ppd on a 3090, that's what you get for removing the beta flag and the 1080ti was acting weird.
You are still in the lead, and I'll be playing CoD all evening (next 4 hours or so). After that I'll be back at 24ish mil ppd :)

Well thats good to hear. I'll be in the dungeon trying to get the 8 M40's rolling tonight. I also have the BETA flag disabled.
