  1. Back in my day, Blue Jeans were what you wore on your legs.
  2. Those WiFi blockers actually do have a use in some industries. I know there are routers out there that if you switch WiFi off in the settings, it doesn't actually switch off. The only way to "switch it off " is with those Faraday cages. One thing that I have seen that is actually ridiculous is those 5G blocking USB drives. What they are, is a 1GB (sometimes 512MB) flash drive with a fancy case and hologram sticker on it. You can buy these ready made on Alibaba for $4.99 each if you're buying up to 499 of them, or $3.22 each if you're buying up to 4999 of them. One prominent "company" selling these $350 each so they only needed to sell 7 of them to get into the profits assuming they bought 450 of these Here's the one they're selling for $350. As you can see, it's identical to the Alibaba one but with their "company" logo engraved onto it, which the Alibaba seller will do for no extra charge. It's supposed to work by But then on the same page it also says These apparently sold very well in 2020. Like to a point where trading standards had to step in and said people are being ripped off with these and gave an alternative link for where you can buy the identical flash drives for 1/10th of the price that these are selling for. This is something that rarely happens, and in this case when it did happen, it made the kinds of people who believe this stuff believe it even more. Also the entire "audiophile grade" level audio equipment as well as computer mice garbage. One of the best things I've seen is a $80 gold plated S/PDIF cable with low dispersion high purity fibre core with carbon insulation to reduce electromagnetic interference. The computer mice thing I'm talking about are things to reduce latency. None of those things do anything. You're just spending $60-$120 on magnets to put on your mouse cable for a placebo. Just admit you're bad at FPS games and that a pro with a generic Microsoft office mouse will be able to beat you at any FPS game, no matter what mouse setup you have.
  3. Cancelled this because I'm not waiting until the end of the month. Bought one in store instead and got it today. It also turns out that the requirements for working in an Apple Store isn't very high because it has the wrong strap. It's supposed be be like the bottom one.
  4. I've got the traditional French dish "Merde j'ai trouvé dans le congélateur"
  5. I like the references to the official GTA V trailers from 10 years ago in that video. That was a nice touch.
  6. Did you get paid for that? I know that guy is making bank. It's only been 4 hours since that video got uploaded and he's already at 25K views. That's $150-$250 already.
  7. That doesn't really have anything to do with the weight of the car, they all look like that after crashes these days. Engineers design cars in such a way that they absorb as much damage as possible to keep the occupants safe. Because of this, even a tiny crash makes a modern car look like it just got hit by a train. A crash like that in cars from 20-25 years ago, at least one person would have been killed or severely injured. Most likely the driver of the blue car.
  8. I see the problem here. That car is an Audi. You should know that Audi drivers legally own the road and can do what they want. If their driving results in you crashing into them, that's always going to be your fault.
  9. I'd honestly say it was 10% you for driving too fast for the conditions, 90% the other driver for pulling out when it was clear there was car coming in the other direction. It's pretty rare for a crash not to be the fault of everyone involved if both/all cars are moving. But it's the majority of the blame is rarely going to go to more than one driver. The speed limits these days are stupid. They made sense in the 70s/80s. Cars are significantly quicker these days. You can get a Toyota these days that can accelerate as quickly as a Ferrari F430. But there is a time and a place to go over the limit.
  10. Does look like you were driving a bit quick for the road conditions. Hindsight is 20/20. Watching that video a couple of times, I want to know how that was a hit and run. You basically took out the rear wheel there. I don't imagine she got very far. As long as you have insurance and are physically okay, it's always going to be "fine" unless that car has a lot of sentimental value. Just a bit of a PITA while the insurance refuses to payout. I've never been involved in any crashes personally except that one time where I wasn't even in the car. An old person who was way too old to be driving reversed into my parked car. I was at the right part of my house at just the right time to see the entire thing happen. Luckily he didn't just drive off, he actually made an effort to try to find out who's car it is. Which to be fair, wasn't that much effort at all because I immediately outside. He was very nice about it actually, he offered to pay me cash to have it fixed. Because it was such a low speed crash, all that happened was a small scratch and the plastic indicator housing broke. Only cost £15 in parts to fix and another £30 in labour. I didn't bother with the scratch because it was already scratched up when I bought it. Unfortunately there's no video because I just didn't have one and I lost the picture a while ago after not making any backups. That crash did actually show the build quality of Volvos very well. The car was a first gen V70. His car was a basically brand new (at the time) Peugeot 107. His car had a damaged rear bumper that was basically hanging off, smashed tail light and smashed rear window. I know @ENTERPRISE had a pretty big crash a little over a year ago
  11. It will be interesting to see exactly what disinformation was being posted from those accounts. I have noticed certain subreddits with tens/hundreds of thousands of followers went from a few thousand new posts per day down to 10-50 new posts per day overnight in February. So I do have an educated guess as to what that disinformation is.
  12. And just a few days later, PMDG release the 737-600 for $35 lol It's well worth the price if you don't want to spend $70 on the 737-700. They're basically the same plane except the 600 is a bit shorter and has better performance (plane, not fps, fps is about the same) due to less weight.
  13. That's not surprising at all. With Apple switching to their own silicon, that's a huge contract lost considering the MacBook Air was the most popular model of laptop in the world despite it's high price. That, and AMD have really pushed forward with their laptop CPUs in the last couple of years. As far as power consumption goes, the latest AMD has to offer rivals that of the M1 chips from Apple. Intel haven't been able to make a CPU that competes with either of those two. Same goes for desktop CPUs as well. AMDs offerings perform better, have lower power usage and are generally cheaper. It seems like the only thing Intel really has going for it these days is server grade stuff.
  14. The in-house Honda tuner probably would have been Spoon if it weren't for nepotism. Mugen weren't that good in the 70s and they aren't that good now.
  15. If it's any consolation, I got yeeted off a bicycle at 32mph and I was fine.
