  1. M E R V and earbuds for my laptop charger was too chonky
  2. you don't have to "find" anything, it tells you to check the thread on the same page. it's free for OGs, but even if it wasn't, it's less than $1/month ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  3. @ENTERPRISE: maybe add the "Dark Theme" benefit this page too? https://extremehw.net/subscriptions/
  4. there is one but it's a premium feature. use an extension. Chromium: Super Dark Mode - Chrome Web Store CHROME.GOOGLE.COM Switch all websites to dark mode. You can darken all sites and also customize colors for the sites you want. Firefox: Dark Reader – Get this Extension for Firefox (en-US) ADDONS.MOZILLA.ORG Download Dark Reader for Firefox. Dark mode for every website. Take care of your eyes, use dark theme for night and daily browsing.
  5. nothing consumer level. they used to own Linksys but they sold it to Belkin ages ago.
  6. I had the Morpheus II Core on my 1080 Ti but never bothered with my 3080 Ti since temps are fine as-is. Assuming it's the same story with the 8069 as the Core: 1 - as long as the mounting hole spacing is the same (it should be) then it shouldn't matter, my 1080 wasn't reference. the heatsink only touches the die it doesn't really hug the card close enough for clearance to be an issue. 2 - if your backplate is thin or the included screws are long enough you can reuse the stock backplate. They weren't on my 1080 Ti so I ran without and never bothered getting longer ones. 3 - T30 should be fine. I ran iPPC 3000s but even a crap fan is going to be better than the stock ones.
  7. windowed Unigine Heaven. scenes still render while paused. bench until the card gets to max (VRAM) temp, pause on any static screen with space (so FPS is as consistent as possible), and watch the FPS counter while you increase frequency. Go until either it freezes/crashes/FPS drops. if the 4000 series is anything like the 3000/2000/1000 series then performance will fall off before you get visual issues/crashes.
  8. how about a VAG PEN instead
  9. I was today years old when I realized this was a thing people do usually my fans die or I upgrade them it me, ur #1 fan send appreciation 4090 pls
  10. supposedly some people are getting invites to the beta. I loaded it up to check but no luck for me
  11. am I an idiot? 3/17 0:00 UTC to 3/20 0:00 UTC is 3 days/72 hours, aka it was over last night @ 8:00 PM EST? but the title says 96 hours, shouldn't it be 3/17 to 3/21 0:00 UTC if it's 96 hours? I finished all my WUs last night cus I thought it was over
  12. I let it run a bit longer and am seeing ~7.5mil (10900K @ 5.1 and 3080 Ti @ 2025) but I'm already melting. I've got ~13 hours left on this CPU WU and maybe I'll pause CPU folding and see what it does for GPU PPD. way back when it used to make sense to fold in a Linux VM within Windows for a PDD boost, maybe I should have done that from the get-go? ez
  13. haven't really been keeping that close of an eye on it but ~5-5.5M for the most part? but half the time I'm limiting it to ~750mv and when I'm not in the room (aka getting cooked) I'm letting it run at 1.0v. it's lower than lar.systems says but I assumed that was from limiting the voltage.
  14. ETA is now 21 hours 32 minutes, aka in ~19 hours the ETA dropped ~9 hours wish folding.lar.systems had more complete data, curious how much faster a 7900/7950X or 13900K would be on the same WU.
  15. my M2000 and 3080 Ti are both working on 18717. M2000 is pegged at 100% and my 3080 is hovering around ~80%.
