  1. I have reached out on the Netgate forums as I am stumped on this one. If I get anything from them, I will share the resolution here.
  2. I was thinking I have not heard of this option...so goes searching for it. Did not find it until I looked out in the greyed out AMD section as I have an Nvidia card.
  3. Welcome to EHW ! We hope you enjoy your stay. Always good to have a solution architect around
  4. Hello all, Moving forward, all our new member registrations will be announced in this thread. Please feel free to welcome them to the community All the best, E
  5. Yes after looking at the Latest block I tend to agree these take up too much space. I will revert these to a single thread later
  6. Welcome to the community! I certainly recognise the username
  7. That is possible for sure. Let me have a think on that one.
  8. Good shout. I will have to keep an eye out. I may with my internet swap see about getting a business package where I can get a static IP which I would like anyway for other use cases.
  9. Hey all, So I am having a hard time with getting my Plex server sorted with PfSense. Thus far I have the ports forwarded and double checked they are correct as per the screenshot below. For the sake of safety I also allowed these ports to be forwarded out via UPnP as the screenshot below. The issue I have is that for a while, Plex will state it has access to the outer internet and for a little while I can access Plex from an outside network, however eventually the Plex server loses connection and I have to sort of manually reset the connection for it to see the outside internet again. For disclosure the current security packaged (other than standard Firewall) running are: Snort PfBlockerNG (Devel) I also have Squid Proxy Server enabled, but this was for page caching and ClamAV. To make sure Plex functions correctly so it works over LAN rather than PfSense sending it out to the open web and back due to how its DNS works, I did add the following entry into the DNS Resolver custom options : It should be working always, as opposed to intermittently. I have checked blocking and firewall logs and none of the logs will mention any blocks happening on my Plex machine IP. So I am a little stumped. Just thought I would put this here to see if anyone had any ideas. Thanks, E
  10. Just as an update, we have the revised latest section completed with the reviews replacing the podcasts and slimming it a little. When expanded each section is not inline with each other at the moment BUT this will change overtime. This is caused by overly long thread titles, so I have limited thread titles by 10 characters to avoid this issue moving forward.
  11. Nice man. That is a large cooling area for sure. Perhaps with my next rig build I may have to consider these overly large RADS to fix externally to my case for MAXIMUM POWAH!
  12. That is nice. Im on water but don't think I can push the V-Core that high as super high loads or sudden load peak will easily kick temps up to 85c + ...I mean that is no huge deal I suppose. My all core OC doesn't have anything like PBO Enabled as I figured it was best to leave PBO off and remove it as a factor when going manual OC.
  13. Nice. Is that 4.8Ghz across all cores or only on a particular CCX ? What V-core are you running per chance ?
  14. Not bad considering stock. I assume you are going to Mod that BIOS and do some serious pushing with it ? Correct me if I am wrong but the Tesla M40 are close to the 980's in nature ?
  15. Certainly a combination of IPC and the fact the 5000 series can be pushed further, especially with the IF. Nice one. Just a heads up, you can also embed your scoreboard for live updates. You can find out how in our features guide . https://forums.extremehw.net/topic/10-site-guide-features/#comment-38
