At this point, I'm just benching whatever is still available to be benched. My file server, an 8th-gen Core i5 Intel NUC.

Also, I finally benched my sig rig and it still has the 5.0 GHz magic in it. It was a golden chip that I bought used in 2016 when I wanted to move on from the i5-2500K. This i7-2600K was confirmed by the seller to run at 5.0 GHz, but I always ran it at 4.6 and never tested it at 5.0 (or 4.998, whatever...still more accurate than Ford calling the 302 a 5.0) until now. Air cooled and the voltage speaks for itself. It's high.

@Storm-Chaser ...look like it's getting busy around here w/ folks wanting to get their updates in before the (flexible?) deadline 👍

...Here are some updates for the three Stooges Musketeers...updates are for CPUz single  thread only, so please keep the multi-thread scores for now...I might do a batch of new multi-thread later

AMD 2950X New single  thread score = 505.2 / 4.4 GHz... (old single thread was 502.9)

AMD 3950X New single thread score = 578.6 / 4.7 GHz...  (old single score was 573.8)

AMD 5950X New single thread score = 704.4 / > 5 GHz... (old single score was 693.9)

I'm still sitting here waiting for a 24pin to 20pin adapter from ebay so I can bench my old Socket A rigs.  Not looking like I'm going to meet the deadline. -_-

So lets lift the deadline for the time being. Goes without saying for other members as well. If you have parts or anything on order LMK. The deadline is just arbitrary anyway. I am also curious to see how your socket A rig performs.

I like it. Been I while since I've seen a 2600K talked about or benched. Glad you were able to hit 5.0GHz with it, that's always satisfying. (heck, even on a slow FX chip!).

It's looking like most of the parts on order should arrive early this week.  I'm missing molex cables for the PSU (because one run isn't enough), and the 20 pin adapters.  I should be able to get at least one of the Socket A rigs run by next weekend.

Nice re. the deadline ! If I can find the time, I want to do a retro-build of my 3770K (5 giggles on water) and its old buddy, the Asus Maximus V Extreme - my first 'real' OC combo. Might be a while, but I'll do the CPUz thing.

I love that mobo and kept it for nostaligia. The 3770K is delidded and has some (by now very old) liquid metal on it / I better scrape that off 🤔

I was going to finish the build regardless.  However I probably wouldn't bother running a CPUz bench on it if I didn't figure it'd get added to the leaderboards.  This competition was kinda getting me going on it moreso than my personal want of finishing the builds lol.  I have my AthlonXP 2500+M build nearly done, its just waiting on the 20pin adapter and molex lines for the PSU.  The Athlon 1100MHz T-Bird I'll have to run on the bench as I haven't gotten the case repaired yet.....but I'll be happy to do so once the right cables arrive.

Just didn't want to bother running them for no reason at all, since they're so old.  The older my machines get, the more I cherish the fact that they still work lol.

Wow, you more or less have two of my old builds still functioning. After my 1.46 GHz Thunderbird, I got an Athlon XP-M 2400+ Barton running at 2.4 GHz. I miraculously used that all the way up to 2011.

I'm about to pull my hair out (what's left of it).  Grrrrrr.

Raidmax sent me 24 pin extensions, when I ordered 20+4 pin extensions.  So I STILL can't get the Socket A rigs running. -_-

If it's an evga/super flower PSU, I have a ton of extensions. Would be more than happy to send to you. Caveat: They are white.

This is a full size tower BTW.

Edit: c'mon, anyone else remember one of my early amd used cpu purchases? A Duron cpu with 512MB of ram and a 40GB HDD. lol, those were the days!

I bet we could find a proper AM2 or AM2+ board to overclock that Brisbane. I think I had the 5400+ version back in like 2007.

I just picked up a nicer 10900K bin. Moved my daily driver from 53x core / 50x cache @ 1.375V to same settings with 1.265V. IMC is also stronger. My 4500 CL16-17-17-30 tRFC 296 RAM clock was bumped to 4600 with no adjustment of timings or RAM voltage. It will be fun to run this bare die with chilled water at 5.5GHz+.
