Welp, already found some fatalities and problems with the stuff I was wanting to bench.  My 2900XT is actually the coveted GDDR4 version, NOT the standard GDDR3 version.  So can't run that.  Submitted an offer for a HD4850 on ebay, so we'll see.  My Radeon 8500 is also dead on arrival (as of a year+ ago).  The gold contacts on the AGP slot pins are completely flaked off on a couple of them, and the card has zero video output.  It worked for a few minutes, I pulled it and inspected it, touched the pins, it flaked off.....and yeah, its dead now.  So put in an offer on a Radeon 7500.

Hwbot is expensive. -_-

However I DID find in my collection a HD4670 GDDR2 card.  That was a happy find.  Much better than the HD4450 I have coming in the mail that I no longer need. -_-  I'd return it, but that'd just be a pretty bad move really considering its ebay and not a major e-tailer.

So far, I've got two submissions in though.  Stage 1 and 3 on AMD GPU's.  I could do Stage 5 on my main rig, but honestly that's just going to suck as I know I'm going to score low in that category.  2900+MHz 6900XT's?  Yeah, I don't stand a chance lol.  I'll run it, just not yet.

That's more or less a given in HWbot comps, you will need to have a pic of the setup with each and every sub you do.
Unless the rules say specifically you don't need a rig pic, you need one.

I truly appreciate you taking the time to help with rules explanations here @Bones, it means a lot. Thank you!

I could do that one with my 4650G if nobody with a 5600/5700G steps in. CPU is locked and really doesn't play nice with more than +100mhz and the SO-DIMM tops out at 3533 though.

If nobody else can do the Intel IGP/DDR3 one I've got a crap laptop with an N3450 but literally anything else would be better.

I just uploaded a 5600G result. I got #1 (so far), but a 5700G will surely beat it if someone has one.

You guys have been active here 😄
So I bought some stuff, found out I need way more to bench that because I own the wrong CPU's, been searching the internet for more hardware, bought more, found out I still don't have enough and so on.
@Avacado just told me I should stop this nonesense 😂

Anyways, I didn't submit much yet and I'm waiting for the good stuff to come.

This GT240 turned out to be not the best model out there but I voltmodded it anyways, why not have some fun right? (not a clean one though, just fast and dirty )

Dude I have been in HWBOT a long time and rules still trip me up. The worst for me was the flip-flop rule changes about base clock overclocking concerning Windows 8 and 10, but the changes involving hundreds of versions of benchmate are confusing too, let alone the very inconsistent policing of submissions. Something that annoys me is that some "cheaters" are grandfathered in because of old drivers and manipulations that may or may not be possible today. Despite all that, I still have a lot of fun with it. Just don't feel alone if you mess up the rules from time to time.

I sort of understand those rules from their point of view. They want to see what you are running/doing, and the only way is with the proper tabs open to show the world.
CPUZ: CPU, mem, board, spd
GPUZ: every card you run
Detailed score info
Validation links etc
It all makes sense, it's just something to keep in mind when you are submitting just like you don't want to forget setting your vcore and multiplier with an overclock 😄

Volt mods are working:

HWBOT.ORG

The GeForce GT 240 GDDR3 @ 780/1070MHzscores getScoreFormatted in the 3DMark03 benchmark. Bastiaan_NLranks #null worldwide and #3 in the hardware class. Find out more at HWBOT.

Core needs a lot of voltage for a little oc, I bet the power delivery is not the greatest but whatever.
First place in the comp for now 🙂

FYI: Any 3D mark benchmark older than 3D Mark 11 is freeware.  Just in case anyone was not aware!

BENCHMARKS.UL.COM

And.... The HWbot page for benchmarks includes direct downloads and the website for said benches. It is a great resource for finding them all in a consolidated location.

Those download links just redirect to the 3dmark homepage and it looks like owning 3dmark is still required for the CPU MAX benchmark.

That's because at this time it's the newest version being sold so you'll need a key for it.

Most of the rest are "Legacy" and can be downloaded with the key for full functionality for free but the version that has CPU Max in it is the current version you can get, probrably won't be legacy for sometime to come unlike the others are now.

I know the main program is NOT freeware. @ENTERPRISE indicated that he may be able to secure a key for you. I was just pointing out that the legacy benches are free and how to locate them.

It kinda looked like the list was made up of only freeware at some point because the one I'd need from 3dmark is listed as a beta so I didn't know if it was some separate beta version of something or what.

I think its more that the benchmarks on HWBot are betas, not the benchmark programs themselves.

@Sir Beregond Is right. When HWbot talks about "Beta's" it's not the actual benchmark program being a beta, it is that the Category ON HWbot is newly introduced for rankings/points.

I've got an Athlon X2 7750BE Kuma and a Sapphire HD4850 GDDR3 now.  Still waiting on the Phenom II x4 960T to arrive (Saturday est), and my Radeon 7500 to arrive (Monday est), and then I can finish up the AMD sections. 🙂 I might go ahead and do the HD4850 in the next few days, we'll see.  Worst case, I'll have them benching early next week.  Pic because why not?  I had one of these years ago when they were new....now I have another!  Hopefully best $17 shipped ebay find yet.  (We've all seen CPU's so not pictured)
