I swear I'm unlucky when it comes to Samsung B-die DDR4. These Vipers are rated 4400CL19, won't post at that speed/timing, but will post with * timings worse than my dirt cheap Micron sticks. I'll be putting the Ballistix back in tomorrow. The Vipers will at least do 3200CL14 on one of my folding rigs so that's where they will go.

I have the same kit of Vipers. Need a HIGH CPU clock speed for them to function at their rated XMP. I had to OC my 9900k to 5.2GHZ+ for XMP to work. Plus voltage helps. They won't boot with anything higher than 3600 at stock CPU speeds.

Premium Platinum - Lifetime

Okay, found the Heatkiller block kit for the 2080ti, so I'm committed. I also have an AquaComputer kit for the card that includes their "active" backplate, but that only really amounts to a heat pipe that runs from their backplate to the cooling plate on the front. I'd have to dig further for that kit though and figured I'd use the one I came across first:

So I just replaced my 2080Super in my nephews system for this 3050.
Which means that I can bench the 2080Super tonight or tomorrow 😄

Yes, we need that. Though we would be competing if I can get my socket 754 working. I have an Athlon 64 3400+ in it. Supposed to have different sockets at least for the DDR Super Pi round. 939, 754 or 462. I still say you should run it. Whichever score is better will be used. You should be able to use that combo for the AMD AGP round (3DMark01) as well, as long as the GPU is 4x or lower.

FX 5600 is Nvidia.  Might be able to use it in the Nvidia AGP round if there is one.  But the AMD round its basically Radeon 7500, 8500, and 9000.

Ah, ok. I didn't even look. Still can use it for the Mem round for SuperPi. Maybe he can get a cheap AMD AGP 4x card

If I'm reading up on it correctly, the 2700+ is a mobile chip too, it might overclock really really well if his board is a good NF board.  1.6GHz stock and like 35w TDP, whereas the typical Newcastle and Clawhammer Athlon64's were I think 95w and 125w, and upwards of like 2.2-2.4GHz (stock).  Got lots of room for overclock on that 2700+ if it'll do it.

Nice, still socket 754. If you can find an AMD AGP 4x card, you could use it for that. I don't know if you'll be able to beat my Athlon 64 3400+ for the Super Pi round. Thats assuming I can get the damn thing working though LOL

And what appears to be a Chieftec Dragon with side window!!!???  Not hwbot related, but dude...you scored IMO!  🤤

The system itself probably isn't half bad either.  K8N-E is a NForce board, just one of the "cheaper" models.  2800+ should do as well as any other Athlon64 I'd imagine, so 2.3-2.5GHz or so easy enough.  FX 5600 is great for retro systems and retro gaming even though it was a joke back then.  Just wow, that's a great score.
