  1. That's actually a fantastic spreadsheet! If you can get that document (eventually) sorted out into tabs, we could probably sticky that in the AMD section (if you'd want it to be). Tons of useful info there!
  2. I haven't posted a video, but it LOOKS like the videos section is posted separately from the threads? As in, I don't BELIEVE the videos are just pulled from threads, but instead users are uploading them to that section. I think. Again, could be wrong as I haven't used them other than watching, like you have. With that said, there IS a date stamp if you click on the video title. Not as easy as seeing it on the homepage though, definitely agree.
  3. Can confirm, issue exists both logged in and browsing incognito. @ENTERPRISE
  4. Ahh okay, yeah that's what I was trying to get across. I was aware that the counter stopped with the newly made review comments threads. But the "latest" section for reviews, still brings users to the review itself (not a bad thing). But the comments threads.....the review is at the top anyway, so yeah, wouldn't be too big a deal to link there instead. Thank you for clarifying. I just wasn't sure how that section was going to continue.
  5. Just noticed that with the new review forum, the comments are no longer being tallied up in the "latest" section. Also, to find the thread you have to scroll to the bottom of the review. Would it maybe make more sense to count the comments in the thread in the "latest" section, and to have the link go to the thread instead of the review itself? Seeing as the review itself is bolded, at the top, in the comments threads? IDK, just an idea.

    Howdy do

    Another username I remember! Welcome!
  7. I didn't know you were over here! I agree whole heartedly with this sentiment, I'm also a 2007 OCN'er. For those curious (not everyone was an OG), I do believe OCN was originally started in 2004 (feel free to correct me). I'd say anyone in that first iteration before the switch to Huddler could, in theory, be considered "OG". I think that happened around 2011-2012 or so, ish? Reason being, that entire time.....the USERS were what was important, both with management and staff members (myself included at the time). After the Huddler switch, it was all about pleasing Huddler admins. The users are what made OCN what it is. The overclocking, modding, water cooling, TEC cooling, Phase Change, LN2, chopping up junkyard cases (who did that I forget?), custom making their own acrylic full on cases (R.I.P. Syrillian), Intel stealing nanometers, playing Crysis on a Pentium 2, etc, etc. "Enthusiasts" do a LOT for the PC communities. And we do it because "why not". Obviously that mentality hasn't died with OCN, but its kind of nowhere else on the internet either except for a few smaller forums with everybody all split up. I dunno, I just think its awesome when we're all together, and have other just as crazy minds to bounce ideas off of. Bouncing crazy ideas around is where all the fun is.
  8. Whoa whoa whoa whoa......... You mean to tell me I've been doing Unigine wrong all these years and that you can ACTUALLY interact within them? What kind of sorcery is this?
  9. I dunno, I was playing Cyberpunk just the other day at 5120x1440 on my 6900XT, with RT on and FSR set to "Performance" (RT lighting to medium instead of Ultra). Played in the mid 40's+ FPS. Seemed like an okay experience to me, the game just wasn't that exciting.
  10. Today, I'm hoping I'll end up getting busy on a review I'm working on. Idk, depends on how things start going. The day's just started so far so I guess I'll see how much I actually end up accomplishing today. -_-
  11. Such a cool piece, both the video and the auction. Currently sitting at $11k for the auction, too rich for my blood.
  12. UPDATE: So of course, right after we get all 4 servers online, the developers decided to throw us a curve ball and update the game again. Seriously guys, you need to check this game out. New cars, new stock maps, new fluid dynamics simulation in the shock absorbers, I mean they really outdid themselves (again) with the free updates! As such, had to make sure our mod pack was updated as well. Our WA State servers 1 and 2 are both online. The Canadian servers (3 and 4) are currently offline and being updated with the latest pack, and being map swapped. Promise, done doing updates (unless the game does or mods break) for a little while now. Will give another update once those 2 are back online as well. Added: Ibishu Wigeon Crawler 1.1 Boat addon for Wydra 1.0 LeOffroader 1.0 SP Winch 1.0 Mod Pack Download Links (updated in OP): BeamMP Mod Pack v1.01 BeamMP Mod Pack Update v1.01 (from 1.00) WA State servers - ONLINE Canadian Servers - ONLINE
  13. With what E said above, there's also a total site-wide attachment limit. This is due to server constraints at the moment if I recall correctly. I forget exactly what the limit is on regular free membership accounts, but you can see yours by clicking on your name, and then "My Attachments". I'd also assume as the site continues to grow, that attachment limit likely will as well, its already been bumped a time or two as is. That's all E's territory though, but its something that should be a little more clear. You do have the OPTION to purchase one of the subscriptions to the site as well, and that attachment quota is raised, as well as a ton of other neat perks. Highlighting the word option though as honestly the site is 110% functional with just a regular free account.
  14. Cleaning the fans, oiling them, and re-timming the heatsinks always helps.....well, until its too late and it doesn't. If the motor itself is starting to wear, no you'll never get the RPM's back. If the above doesn't do enough, it MIGHT just be about time to do a full replacement. Up to you of course, I mean its still working at 5200RPM, and you'd likely see a better temp drop from a TIM change than getting those extra 800 RPM's back.
  15. I wasn't even aware of that, that's a really good suggestion! @ENTERPRISE? I do believe a similar thing was recently implemented in our reviews, so even guests could comment on the reviews. Shouldn't be too difficult to implement a "read only" feature for something like the news section, I'd personally imagine.
  16. Landscape yes. Size, idk, whatever resolution that'd look fine on standard 8.5 x 11 paper, calendar sized. I mean pixels CAN BE artsy too, so leaving that up to everyone's creative genius.
  17. Per the EHW Discord, we decided that it'd be kinda neat to create a EHW Calendar. So.......post your best "EHW Related" pictures. This is your chance to do some photo editing, put a clean backdrop, spruce up your photo skills. I want to see COLD rigs, I want to see HOT rigs. Water cooling, air cooling, keyboards, monitor setups, motherboards on fire.....whatever you can come up with that's "Extreme" and hardware. I'm going to leave the submissions up until we have enough (date not set). Once we have enough submissions, we'll run a poll for everyone to vote on what pictures are included. It'd be pretty neat to see some frozen motherboards in winter months, and hot stuff in the summer months, but that's just my own opinion. Anyway, let's see em guys! Let's make a calendar! Could make for a neat prize we could handout too for competitions.
  18. I sincerely do not mean this in a rude manner, but I don't think it QUITE works that way mate. I could be wrong, E can probably explain it a tad better, or maybe Avacado......but from what I've seen around here, you do good work, and things are offered based on your skillset and if you want to do it or not. I didn't ASK to become a reviewer, it was offered to me based on what I bring to the table. We're all in this together. And that's what's important.
  19. With what I've heard, they should've given you a lambo...... Exciting times for EHW regardless mate. Enjoy the next few years, I get the feeling that with your last message on OCN, the activity boost we saw with it, and the knowledge we already had going here.......this site isn't going anywhere for a long time except up.
  20. Note: I've never tried cleaning a mousepad, I just replace when mine get gross and I use cheapie ones. So take ANY advice I give with a huge grain of salt....... I don't imagine a little bit of Dawn would hurt. You could start off with just simply a damp towel. If you're getting fibers stuck on it like you mentioned in your OP, you might try a microfiber towel. I'd try just a damp microfiber first. I'd grab a bowl of water or something, try that. If that doesn't do it, add a drop of Dawn to the bowl. Try again, and keep adding Dawn (a drop at a time) till you're clean. I'd try to keep the solution as diluted as possible, but strong enough to clean. Then again, I've never done this so it could potentially ruin your pad. I truthfully don't know. I would certainly IMAGINE so long as you're not soaking the thing, it'd probably be just fine though.
  21. Stay tuned for next month's quote. Am taking suggestions via PM.
  22. Absolutely, 100%. "Its because of flooding hurr durr". Yeah right WD, you weren't the only plant, and it was for a few days. Doesn't excuse years worth of inflated pricing. These tactics absolutely have been used for many many years. Glad I'm not the only one catching that.
  23. Ehhhhhhh......... Been alright all things considered. I'm on discord, but I think I'm still on the old EHW discord. I guess we're moving discord servers or something.
