I'll try to tinker around some more, but I think I am tapped out from everything I can qualify for.

Don't have it in the budget to get more watercooling stuff for the 980 which is the only thing I could probably push more and that was as high as the clock could get on air before erroring in the benchmark.

That would be clutch! We need the 939 subs badly.

Ok got the MSI NF980-G65 booted into windows on the IGPU I hope it counts with onboard Mobo/GPU

Edit #1:  Ok got drivers installed for the 8200M IGUP and 3DMark06 installed "thank you Pook" and ran it to see what would happen.  I had the side of my case off and fans on low.  I saw like 1-5fps and then it froze on a black screen when the app was changing tests.  I quickly turned the fans on high settings " antec 900 has dip switches " and put the side cover on and after about a minute the system cooled down enough to continue the run.  It was not great let me tell you " rollie eyes " but while doing this I remembered one of my late brothers, the oldest that lived with me bequeathed an ASUS Lapi with a GTX 770 iirc so I may have to play with that to see if I can get it entered as an IGPU.  Not sure it that counts if the gpu can be switched out.  Have been wondering that for a while now if the gpu can be switched on in that lapi.  It's one of the ASUS Gaming lap tops.

Ok back to what I was saying.  the 8200M mbo gpu socored a 1303 😕  but hey points are points right?

I just submitted the first IGPU run from the MSI NF980-G65 onboard gpu " it's kind of sad but 3rd globally out of 15 🙂 " and for some reason it does not show up on the main competition page.  See pic below to see what I am talking about.

The 3D mark 06 runs at a staggering 2 FPS.  I'm wondering if my bios settings are all off.  Oh yeah and I'm using 4x2Gb sticks of ram with the Ph II X4 955 BE thinking if I pull 2 sticks of ram I may be able to drop the refresh from 2T to 1T IDK.  I'm not the best at setting systems up and overclocking so it is what it is.  I just like it when I systems work LOL.

Any way got another score up if it counts.  I think I'll play with the ram and timings to see if I can get the score a little higher.

Oh yeah also not sure why but the GPU ram is low like 128MB or something like that.  I enabled 512MB in the bios not sure why it's so low.

Extremehw has done very well so far in this comp. I don't have anything else I can bench for the comp, but I did start benching Michele's old reference 6900xt for general submissions. Not quite as fast as it was on her 5800x/x570, but still very good despite PCIE 3.0.

The Athlon 64 X2 3800+ (Manchester) @ 2700MHzscores getScoreFormatted in the Cinebench - R11.5 benchmark...

There you go @Avacado.  I told you I wasn't gonna settle on a stock run. 😛 @Fluxmaven watched the whole run too, it was legit, so don't put ME in the corner either for it. :lachen:

Ask anybody that knows Socket 939.  2.70GHz on a Manchester core x2 is a good run.  My 3.1GHz stable Toledo apparently has died sometime, I'll call it a pre-death.  But 2.7 on a Manny, with..........DDR-540.......  I'm impressed enough with that run for what the CPU was. 🙂 Now, I'm eyeballing an Opteron 175 like SERIOUSLY bad for $40.  Should be a 3GHz+ chip based on the stepping and date codes.......  Kind of want.  Then I could properly use this really good board again.  Sigh, ebay is taking me over again and I don't have the spare $40.  🤣

I'm guessing Capt. Howdy would agree with that...

exorcist-demon2.thumb.jpg.466e2c793ae009382fda5ebe982dabf9.jpg

Anyway, think I might have blown one of my D5 Next control heads when I was moving everything around to accommodate the 2080ti run a few days back (they're more or less fragile junk); and only one pump's been showing up in Aquasuite.  I can also move the issue from one pump to the other by swapping the controls heads between the two pumps. Both pumps do still pump water though, so I'm not fretting too much about it. But I think I'm done with the competition for this year.

Worse comes to worse, I'll pull the D5 Next Pumps and replace them on the bench with Watercool PWM pumps. In my experiences they've been far more reliable (less stuff to break).

As far as I could tell, the GTX 460 SLI run was correct, but was overpowered by Flux's run.  And your GTX 1080Ti run was overpowered by RTX 2080 cards, so as far as I could tell you're good. 👍  Idk if those were the only errors on the iGPU run though, but as far as I can tell it should be 100% correct now.

We only have a good chance because we're all helping out. 🙂 Teamwork was important in this competition, and we definitely seem to have that down pretty well here.

Sorry to hear about all the things you're going through mate.  Things will get better.  Sounds like you've got most of the important expensive bits handled so far.  Not going to lie, I was kind of hoping to see you run some of your gear, but at the same time was dreading it too because it'd knock us down. :lachen: But it'd just make me want to try to improve my own subs too anyway, so whatever.  I'm definitely limited by my cooling capacities, so it is what it is.  Nothing wrong with keeping some of your "secrets" to yourself, you're here, and you're helping us out where you can.  You still hold several #1 spots, so your advice is definitely appreciated.

Take care of the things you need to first.  HWbot will always be there, but sounds like you need to focus your attention elsewhere.  Definitely keep yourself in good health, so go handle your doctor related stuff.  If you do happen to get some runs in, it'll be an honor to compete against you.  If you don't, there's always the next competition for you to kick my butt in.  I figure since you helped with my old boards, its only fitting......I'm going to TRY to bust out that A8N32 again to see if its capable.  I know I've got a good clocking x2 for it, I just need to figure out what the problem was last time I had it out.  I can't for the life of me remember why I didn't want to use it. *shrugs

Short of one, ONE CPUz submission years and years ago, and one DICE run using somebody else's name on hwbot (may he R.I.P.), this is my first REAL run with hwbot too.  The DICE run, he was using my equipment for the run because he didn't have Skt 939 equipment, and I wasn't doing any competing for hwbot at the time.  So brought it over and we had some fun with it.  Good times. 🙂

Yeah I gave up on my 5800x.  I can't for the life of me figure out the RAM stuff on it.  I'm scoring less in Cinebench right now than a 3800x does.

I guess you got your wish Pio, I'm in.
I will say ATM I ran my X2 4800 in CB 11.5 earlier today and may do so later with it and something else, depending on how things go.

Have to pay the roofer tomorrow so the work begins shortly after, also have to start getting ready for my procedure week after next and have that money for the co-pay available.
Don't worry, it's nothing of concern but has to be done anyway and can promise you I'm not looking foward to it like all else medical-related.

Have to pay the roofer tomorrow so the work begins shortly after, also have to start getting ready for my procedure week after next and have that money for the co-pay available.
Don't worry, it's nothing of concern but has to be done anyway and can promise you I'm not looking foward to it like all else medical-related.

You're lucky I somehow killed my Toledo x2. 😛  Temp sensors say 105*C at like 1.10v on it underclocked.  Slapped my Manchester into the rig, everything's fine.  Definitely not the mount.  *shrugs  Just sucks, that was a 3.1GHz Prime95 STABLE ON AIR chip. -_-

I feel ya on the medical problems.  Been fighting with a bummed leg myself lately.  Getting older sucks.  I hope you feel better. 🙂
