I remember something like that for an nforce laptop I had a very long time ago. I was able to overclock an old athlon like that and the ram too. I wonder if it's actually the same software. Must have been more than 15 years ago.

I really don't remember but I think it was actually some nvidia branded utility you could download from the official nvidia site.

What Pook linked to should work fine.

Just know there are also versions for NF2 and NF3-250 boards as well but in the case of NF4 ClockGen, it doesn't work correctly, if at all with certain boards such as the Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe.
Ask me how I know......

In fact the other versions as well cannot be guaranteed to work with all of them.

@pioneerisloud - your time to shine!

In other news, I finished building the test bench last night and put in my PPCs order today. Titan X and waterblock should get here by Friday. Really close to being able to start. Taken me much longer to get this going than I anticipated, but want to do it right.

Did someone say 939?  👀

@Avacadoif you need a copy of clockgen, I think I still have the copy I used decades ago ON socket 939 stashed away somewhere on my NAS.

I'm probably not going to break any records on 939, my CPU's I have all suck.  2.9GHz at best.  I could try a single core out though, I've got like 6 of those laying around I haven't even tried yet.

I thought you were and see that's still the case.
Your listing has you located up in "Isabella" which is West of Clanton.

You should keep all that for someone here or at least not for me, I've got enough myself.

It took me forever to figure out how to edit the location. Now that map is within a mile, but I didn't put my exact address on there 😄

Yes I figure someone will want it to learn overclocking or perhaps to try some dry ice runs. I have no complaints at all about the motherboard once I figured out how to truly unlock CPU voltage (by setting sensor to ignore).

I have to inventory a few stacks of graphics cards and put them here as well. I really need to get rid a lot of things soon because we're remodeling the office/lab next. Now that Rachel moved out we ripped the carpet out, painted, etching the floor, then it's going to be the workout room. All my workout stuff is crammed into my office lab as well as all my guitar stuff so it's very crowded when I'm lifting weights. Ethan's the next child out the door soon and then we're reclaiming that room. But honestly after how hot it has been this summer I'm ready to sell and * of here all together.

Nice a GTX 275! I missed out on that generation. I think I had an 7600 GS? an 8800GT, then my next nvidia was GTX 460. Are older Titans still expensive?

This is around what I typically see them for.

Titan - $50-80

Titan Black - $50-100

Titan Z - $250+

Titan X (Maxwell) - $75-150

Titan X (Pascal)- $185-225

Titan Xp - $195-250

Titan V - $500+

Titan RTX $750+

I recently got an original Titan with a Accelero for $40 shipped (was untested and marked for parts) and a Titan Xp (that was mis-listed as a Maxwell card) for $93 shipped.

They love making things confusing.

They released Titan X Pascal, then the the 1080ti which performed almost exactly the same... Few months later the slightly more better Titan Xp comes along 😂

The only noticable physically change is that the Xp dropped the DVI port. Pretty common to see eBay listings labeled incorrectly for them.

Titan Black vs OG is also mislabeled a lot. They use the same cooler but the word Titan is black and the fins in the cooler are black as well.

Premium Platinum - Lifetime

Alright so AM5 y-cruncher 2.5b is something I can actually do and contribute. I do not have the inclination to buy a Ryzen 3300g and put it in my wife's machine for the AM4 stage, then put her 5900x back in. However, I can do y-cruncher but I have a question:

The benchmark to me looks like it is currently being rated and scored based on the highest time at the link I posted, not the lowest? Currently people with the longest timed scores are getting the most points. In that case, because my chip effing sucks, I can post a score of about 50 sec. Though looking at the current subs we have for this category/stage, Flux's score is 55 secs so maybe I'm wrong.

I would like to contribute at least something to the team cup since I've seen how hard all you guys have been working on it and even seen Avacado on camera trying to figure out how to abuse a socket 939 Opteron, lol. However, is it needed since we have two subs already, and would my score be good enough? Like should I even bother?
