ngl the magic bar or whatever they called the screen that replaces the F keys is pretty neat. I thought it would be a gimmick but it's actually useful.

Lol yeah, those SSD's would be fab...but the price...no. Yeah I only realized that the other day...enterprise drives for enterprise, guess it is only fitting

And a few different types of thermal paste, just to see what works best.

bought two for my NAS, considering buying 1-2 more. 

 

 

 

was going to run RAID 10 with 4 but losing half the capacity makes my heart hurt.

 

now I'm thinking of sticking with RAID 0 and a single 12/16TB drive to make backups to.

I bought a used surface pro 1 i5 4gb for my gd to use for school for $180. Seemed like a pretty good deal.

Not sure what they cost new, but I bet that's a lot more than 180 dollar!

IIRC those things were from $900 new.

When I was buying a laptop, I was considering one of those because you can detach the screen from it and use it as a tablet.

So... I actually just found a really good deal on a surface pro 4 (i5) for $215 so only $35 more than I paid for the surface pro 1. I'm going to resell the surface pro 1 for hopefully about what I paid. $215 for a surface pro 4 is a total steal.

Lots of great deals on eBay for them but you do have to sort through a lot of listings for defective units.

So the Meshify S2 came in today, and I am very happy with it! I love the design, might be the reason why this is my 5th Fractal case
It's my first white case, but I have no regrets. With the black and white sleeved cables it looks pretty good, now I just have to wait for my rma'd 2080s to return and it'll be done for while
