  1. I like the sound of that, a Folding Stats Section! The folding at home app knows the most about what your client is doing, the hardware specs and everything about the project you work on. I'm not into writing software and that kinda stuff but getting a database going with the best possible first hand data would mean you have the best and most accurate database. Although it would be a lot of data I guess..
  2. It would be nice to have an updated database, the current one is basically useless after the cuda update. For AMD cards it's still the same afaik, at least on my end there is no positive change on the 5700xt's.
  3. Good to hear, have fun building!
  4. Ah bummer, that's a bit too far away. If you go with MSI, replacing the thermal pads will give you a pretty big decrease in memory temps.
  5. If you were going for Nvidia not so much, but I wouldn't recommend AMD at this point if you don't have some specific reasons why you'd like a red card. My 1660ti is folding between 1.3 and 1.5 million points a day with a maximum of 150 watt power draw. I haven't seen my 5700xt's above 1.1 million ppd for the last two weeks, but they are maxing out at 200 watt. So for the 1660ti it's 8000 to 10000 points per watt and for the 5700xt it's about 5000 to 6000 points per watt.
  6. 100% agree about the software! I only had one issue a few times, where I pressed shift in MW2 and it switched to the Steam in game page. Not sure why that happened, but now you mention it I remembered it.
  7. Welcome SamsTechStuff! I see you've set up your F@H too, creeping up in my rearview mirror
  8. Hey there Avacado, welcome to EHW
  9. That looks pretty Sir Beregond! I have the same kinda tubing in 2 systems, and I love it. It stands out from all the hardware and looks better than clear tubing in my cases.
  10. I'm still active in the F@H section on OCN, and some threads here and there. But besides that I prefer to be here
  11. Where are you from @Darkpriest667? I have an MSI 5700XT Mech OC that'll be replaced soon..
  12. Welcome Sir Beregond I miss the old days on OCN, the F@H section was always a good place to hang out.
  13. I've got a Sennheiser PXC550. I take it with me to hotels and ships (lots of ambient noise), and I fall asleep with it almost every night. Also at home, active noise cancelling and some music and I'm out ?
  14. That is some great news! I'm stoked for you, and I can't wait to see more updates As for the cpu mounting, nothing beats the lga 115x cpu mounting imo. I love AMD, but pulling the cooler/waterblock with some sticky paste is anxiety level 9000+
  15. I've got a Corsair K95 Platinum with MX Brown switches, I really love it! I used a bunch of mech boards from my brother to decide what I like the most, and I ended up with the browns. The RGB is pretty cool, but one thing I dislike is that I'm only able to save basic RGB profiles on the board. I hate running all kinds of software for the RGB, so basic (custom) lighting it is
  16. Good to hear E! Best of luck moving, and don't lift too heavy
  17. Good to hear that you'll get the money back!
  18. That's a good motivation! And I like reading along
