  1. Fan speed % = exactly that though. The percentage the fans are spinning at, COMPARED TO (you were forgetting that part) maximum RPM. What is maximum RPM for the fan you're using? Does your card's VBIOS know? The RPM's are accurate. % is not. Even on stock cards, I've seen this same behavior sometimes with aftermarket AIB coolers. Completely bone stock cards, but "max out" around 60% fan speed........but yet insanely high RPM's. Yeah. Ignore fan speed % unless its actually a stock and accurate fan installed.
  2. Most common RPM for a 120x38mm "bloweymatron" fan would be 3000 RPM though. So just going by averages, seems accurate enough to say 3000 RPM is "probably" your highest RPM the fan can do. It's at near 3000 RPM in your screenshots at 100% set (60% reading). I know the % reading in GPUz is based off PWM signal, which isn't present if the stock fan is gone. Sooooooooo yeah.
  3. I mean I did tell you hours ago on Steam, the RPM reading is accurate still. But hey, glad you got it sorted.
  4. I really like how you laid out this review E. Very fine formatting on this one, looks absolutely great. Reads easily. Great information in the review. Pictures were fantastic. And the product seems to be worth talking about too! Seems like Corsair did a good job with this RAM kit.
  5. I'm kinda with everyone here. Have my own story. I too always wanted an eGPU on a laptop for portability performance. Ended up buying a Ryzen 2500u laptop instead. Its not just a matter of eGPU's being a niche market, its also a matter of how good integrated graphics have gotten too.
  6. Awards? Is this another neat post bit thing? *Looks down after posting. Congrats though guys! Looks like we settled in at 7th place! Better than last year, and we put the hurt on those guys. They KNOW we're here now. EDIT: Awards look snazzy! Thanks @ENTERPRISE!
  7. Your 69 just rolled over and switched sides. Nice!
  8. Perfect. Been telling you to get that going. No better time than now. Well........yesterday would've been better.
  9. Cheapazz Chipz is coming up soon.
  10. I'm sure I could do better. Dirty dirty gaming install, nothing closed, full YOLO send it at stock / my normal GPU OC to prevent overheating. Was going to submit to hwbot but not worth it with such a bad score.
  11. That whole article was so punny I forgot to laff. I don't blame them though, with a foldable PC, how could you not? I'd want to run F@H on it just for the lols of it myself.
  12. For anyone following along with my thrifting finds...... I found the same Pioneer VSX 504 receiver my dad gave me years ago! $19.99 at the thrift store. TONS of power too, 135w RMS x 5 @ 8ohm (and 2ohm stable, claiming 350w RMS, although I think those numbers are a LITTLE fudged). Had a video uploaded showing (best I could) how loud it got at very little volume levels on the knob, but apparently H265 doesn't work on site?
  13. I had completely forgotten about flash video. Good idea. Also.....Amazon store listing for the device in question (found on french Amazon), claims the following: "Format vidéo: AMV / AVI" So I would shoot for amv format, more info about .amv format: Otherwise, maybe just shoot for a standard mpeg compression in an avi container maybe?
  14. Thank you. It's kiddo's build, he loves Lego's and Dinosaurs. I feel like I could've spruced the build up a little better, but its fine.
  15. Thank you. I had fun with it as best I could. It's seriously not a bad cooler at ALL, it just didn't have that "flair" to make up some neat backstory or themed build with it was my biggest problem. Glad it was a good read.
  16. @LabRatyou forgot to post your score here. -_- /img/logo.png LabRat810`s 3DMark2001 SE score: 2354 marks with a GeForce4 MX 4000 PCI (64bit) HWBOT.ORG The GeForce4 MX 4000 PCI (64bit)scores getScoreFormatted in the 3DMark2001 SE benchmark. 17. Some really good lookin' boards there.......
  18. My phone was $80, Google Pixel 4XL. Is it the newest phone? No. Does it make phone calls? Yes. All this talking of "maturing"..... iPhone = Android as far as ease of use. Period. You can grab a cheap or expensive Android, turn it on, install apps. It's that easy. Just like the iPhone. You don't HAVE to customize your icons, flash custom ROMs, change themes........you don't have to do all the customizable stuff. Androids work just as easily as iPhones do out of the box. That argument is definitely "debunked". Androids have the ABILITY to do those things, yes (if you buy the right one). I don't normally agree with @UltraMega very often, but yeah that's something I've noticed. As I've personally "matured" (LOL), I've found I "waste" less money on useless stuff like what phone I'm using. My phone makes phone calls and it runs the apps I NEED it to run. I don't NEED the latest and greatest $1500 smart phone to run a browser and my banking app, and to make phone calls. Seriously, I was running a dumb phone for 3 years until a few months ago......and THAT phone worked fine for me. You want to "mature"? Be smart with your money. Now.....buying HARDWARE I don't need on the other hand............ yeah shutup.
  19. I wonder why you're experiencing so much eye strain with the 32's. 32" and 1440p is relatively large pixel pitch, kind of like a 27" 1080p panel. With that said, have you tried messing with the scaling options in Windows yet?
  20. /img/logo.png pioneerisloud`s PiFast score: 42sec 420ms with a Opteron 180 HWBOT.ORG The Opteron 180 @ 3072.1MHzscores getScoreFormatted in the PiFast benchmark. pioneerisloudranks #6749 worldwide and #20 in the... Best this chip is going to do, unfortunately best one in the house without trying to bin some 148's. Tried DDR500 sticks, IMC couldn't hang so went back to 4x1 since I wasn't going much past DDR400 anyway. We need one more Opteron for Socket 939. Anyone have one?
  21. You really need a webcam or capture card or something. I REALLY want to see that running.
