lol,I really need to concentrate on 1 game and finish it. I'm playing first Metro,Days Gone,Dying Light 1, Destiny 2(it just keeps on),Horizon Zero Dawn,Middle-earth Shadow of Mordor, and the 3 Tomb Raider reboots. Oh,not to mention I have to replay Witcher 3 and do the final pack they gave us there. 😀 I installed RDR2 but haven't really gave it a try yet. Maybe less time reading more time playing? I know I have to force myself to play shadow of Mordor because I read all the Tolkien books before the games were ever an idea and watching Shelob as a cocktail waitress is just annoying.🤣 If God of War picks up the pace, that'll be added to the play choices...

Shelob as a cocktail waitress? What?

Yeah you just reminded me that I never finished Witcher 3 Blood and Wine. Guess something to add to the list for me.

What kind of games are your favorite? All the games you listed are in the realm of big budget story and combat games.

@Sir Beregond The DLC for Witcher 3 was the best part IMO. Blood and Wine is great, if you are already far enough in the game to start the DLC you definitely should. I did not find the main plat of the game very interesting... just too slow and too many random NPCs to keep track of, but the DLC quest lines are top notch.

Yeah I played main game and Hearts of Stone. Started Blood and Wine and then got distracted I guess and never got back to it.

That was my issue also. Plus,I had finished the game when the new DLC was released so figured I'd play it over with different choices for a different ending. (3 possible endings.)

I prefer single player combat with a story. I barely get along with Destiny 2 and that's only because of the random matching. lol, I tend not to play well with others, either I let them down,or they let me down. 🤣

Here is a game recommendation for anyone who likes classic doom inspired games:

This game is on steam and game pass. It's really good, very intense music and sound effects, weapons feel weighty and satisfying. Additionally, the online mode lets you download a bunch of custom single player maps, so you never run out of new maps to play. You can set the enemies to be 2d sprites or 3d models, there are retro filters like scanlines you can enable, but mostly it's just a really solid game.

The first doom game I played was Doom 3 so I don't have a nostalgia-based interest in this game, but I still really like it. If you have game pass already, definitely check it out.

If you want DOOM 64 the anniversary is free on Epic now it celebrates the 25th birthday of the game & they put in on PC & consoles with graphic changes and other upgrades.

+1.  I've been watching the freebies on Epic every week.  This week's a GOOD one! :wheee:

Was just playing it at 5120x1440 @ 120Hz, and it plays just fine at Ultrawide resolutions.  Controls seem fine enough.  Graphics are certainly better than they were back in the day, not quite as good a remake as the recent Quake upgrade, but still a great addition for a "free" game. 🙂

Lately I've just been hopping on the new CoD MW2 for a couple games then getting off.

I need to start diving back into some of my unfinished games.

Nier Replicant, Cyberpunk 2077, and FF7 Remake.

Going to replay Portal once the RTX mod is released.
