Calling any and all members, I need your help with this one!  Please take a visit to THE OFFICIAL PAGE to see if you have any of the required hardware and make a submission. You do NOT need to OC, simply having a piece of hardware that others might not have will still push points towards EHW. If you need any assistance getting registered on HWbot or have any rule related questions, please give me a shout.

This competition is averaged and multiple EHW members can make submissions in the same categories. There are 6 separate categories, browse them all to see what you might be able to do!

Cash Prizes courtesy of @Bastiaan_NL.

1x$50 euro drawing for everyone who subbed, but the final subs in the hwbot listing are the entries you get giving you more chance if you sub more counting results.

- 1x$25 euro prize for a random member who has a submission that may not be counted in the final tally.

Looks like all I got that qualifies is my GTX 980, but @Avacado already secured #1. I also have my 5900X, so can see what we get with that.

I do also have a GTX 570, but none of the other required hardware for that stage. And am not really in a position to be buying stuff for benchmarking at this time. I also have an LGA 1156 CPU (i5-650) that qualifies for the Intel DDR3 comp., but no motherboard/RAM/etc.

No worries! If you have anything that meets the requirements do it, if not, no pressure. I appreciate the consideration. You can still post a run in that 900 series bench. It is not limited to one submission per team.

You should not need to be signed it. If you click the link for each round in a category, it should show you the requirements for said round

Click on each bracket (Intel, AMD, Nvidia, etc.) and then there are stages under each category for different hardware reqs.

Count me in!  I just bought an Athlon x2 7750BE Kuma and Radeon HD4450 last night just for this purpose! :wheee:

Here's what I have that I'll be running.  I'll have to go through this stuff with you seasoned vets and make sure I'm not "cheating" on any of these runs too.  I've bought what I'm going to buy, so if something I have doesn't line up, I might have to skip that round.

AMD CPU competition:

Stage 1:  AMD Athlon x2 4200+ Toledo (if it works, sucks they say no Opterons)

Stage 2:  Athlon x2 7750BE Kuma

Stage 3:  Phenom II 1100T locked to 4 cores (I hope that's not cheating?)

Stage 4:  Ryzen 5800x

AMD GPU competition:

Stage 1:  RX 580 8GB / FX 8350

Stage 2:  ATI HD2900XT / FX 8350

Stage 3:  HD4450 / FX 8350

Stage 4:  ATI Radeon 8500SE / Athlon64 3200+ (will have to double check models on both)

Stage 5:  MSI AMD RX 6900XT / 5800x

Again, assuming I read the requirements right on all of those.  On some of the GPU benches, they don't specify what CPU so I'm assuming my FX will work (and be accepted).  If not, I have other setups I can plop the GPU's into if its incompatible or not allowed per the rules.

I could do that one with my 4650G if nobody with a 5600/5700G steps in. CPU is locked and really doesn't play nice with more than +100mhz and the SO-DIMM tops out at 3533 though.

If nobody else can do the Intel IGP/DDR3 one I've got a crap laptop with an N3450 but literally anything else would be better.

Ran my 5900X through the 3DMark CPU Profile Max bench. Got a crappy score (second to last), but was enough to get #1 for the competition :wheee:. Will play with it some more and see if maybe an all core OC works better or not, or maybe PBO/CO needs some tweaking.

Doesn't matter if someone has better from my understanding of what avacado said. The more submissions we get as a team, stock, overclocked, slow or fast, the better. So do it up man! Good excuse to play with your 2500k again! 😄

I'll look through what all I have laying around. I know I still have a fair amount of older GPUs but not the appropriate platforms to run them on.  Plus most of them are waterblocked... I need to get more sets of quick disconnects lol

@UltraMega I thought Sandy Bridge was LGA1155... If it's not, I have a 2700K I could dig out to help.

For the DDR4 category I have all da i5's baby! 11400, 11500, and 11600K.

First thing on the limitations tab is that you can only use processors using socket LGA1156.

I resubmitted my 5900X score. Thought my PBO wasn't working right even though it was set correctly. I looked and somehow the stupid Extreme Tweaker tab ASUS puts on their boards was overwritting what I had in PBO in the normal Advanced -> AMD Overclocking tab. Sorted that, got a better score. May tweak it some more and see what happens.
